what disturbed me the most was the needless slaughter of the tourists the few chapters before. that sickened me, but it was also kind of ironic if you look at our own history. and as expected, the karmic justice that the empire gets their ass whooped
^So what I can gather is that Japan still tries to negotiate towards an stubborn enemy. ^^Another thing I feel the author is a bit touchy on is the use of Uranium and nuclear deterrent. Since there was no MENTION of anything nuclear at all unless i missed it. Japan is a modern country and Japan HAVE nuclear physicists, so the Nuclear option is there. ^^^Also... wait i think that's all whats been bugging me. wait.. ^^^^ONE more thing. Where was Yokosuka AFB in all of this?
Yeah, Japan will only fight back when their citizens die it seems. If I remember correctly, Japan's Ministry of Defense is working on creating nuclear weapons and upgrading their military. And they also found that the ancient sorcerous empire used magic nukes after they found one of them somewhere.
I wonder about that. They were never mentioned. It's like only Japanese people were transferred along with Japan.
They are mentioned like once when Japan realizes that if they are going to truly Gra Valkas and other threats they will need an actual navy with carrier groups and capital ship fleets. They mentioned that the were going to consult with the Americans in the military base(s) that got isekai'd with them on advice on how to do that. Literally one line in 100 chapters. Never mentioned again after that

They are not involved directly in the battles but Japan consulted them about having a carrier battle group (design and the technical know-how). Japan's gonna build 4 aircraft carriers in the story. But to be honest, 4 aircraft carriers is not enough to battle the Ravenal Empire.
United States Forces Japan (USFJ) is mentioned in chapter 42 (chapter 48 of the raw WN). They are Japan's adviser about the building of 4 aircraft carriers to battle Japan's enemies in the New World
And maybe Japan will gonna reverse-engineer some of the relics of the Ravenal Empire. If they gonna do it, they must reverse-engineer the wrecked Flying Battleship of HME first, unlock the secrets of anti-gravity tech and incorporate it in their space tech. Dang! Japan could build a space armada because of that wreck. Even the aviation industry could benefit from that. Also, the Ravenal Empire's Flying Battleship has magic cannons capable of firing high-power laser beams capable of destroying large targets like planes and ships, something that even the US and China can't be done even with our 21st century tech (unless the Roswell Incident of 1947 is true and US has such weapons already, only hidden. Lol). Lasers on Earth are only used for defense (destroying drones and missiles). If Japan is gonna reverse-engineer that wrecked Flying Battleship and become successful, oh boy, they're already surpassed Earth's technology. If there would be a battleship, would the Japanese armed it with railguns? Of course expected that it will have SAMs, ASMs, guided torpedoes, and other 21st Century tech. If they gonna use conventional cannons, maybe the Japanese will gonna make anti-ship versions of HEAT rounds and APFSDS.
Oh yeah, a lot spicier due to tech level up of the less-advanced countries, and most of them have hegemonic attitudes. I really wanna see the retaliation Japan will do to destroy the GVE invasion fleet and the arrival of the new Japanese weapons.
