    I have told many writers on NUF that the spoiler box is pretty useful for keeping readers from scrolling a lot to reach a chapter, but the process of reaching a chapter can also be accomplished by linking the chapter to a text in a table of contents.

    To rephrase my poll question, should NUF writers put their chapters in a spoiler box?

    Edit: Orz. The poll question doesn't match what I typed right above this comment. I should've double-checked what I wrote first before posting.

    Personally, if someone is interested in writing something like a top ten novels to read I would be interested in that even if it is community fiction.

    It isn't necessary for reading since the OP can link to the specific post but it does make commenting and discussion a nightmare.

    If the thread is just for the chapters then no. No need for spoiler box's.
    But if you comment and discuss in the same thread then yes. Use spoiler boxes because it removes so much clutter.

    No matter what the poll result is, it will not change anything anyways.
    The author of the community fiction is the one to decide if he/she will use the spoiler for organization or not.
