Beats me~ I don't even know what we can buy with this 'money'. It's the same thing with the Gold in AG, actually. Just maybe it has some meaning in buying something. Unlike the AG's Gold, you know? Same answer as above?
....... i still see no reason for you to suggest a merge when you want a system like the current AG gold system.... and Nuffies still has no use too, just like gold so...
i like it, it increases my message count to post here :v and its alright cause tony's threads are always hijacked but yes
Oh, so that's what it is! For a second there I was thinking that was some kind of donation system for translators, like if NUF would became a especialized kind of money over IP site.
So... What's the exchange rate from (Nuf)llers (or N.U.F.D as in novel updates forum denomination)--> Nufflers to U.S.D (U.S denomination) ?
Longshot, but is there any way that this could be linked with NU so that things like writing reviews, editing/adding releases etc. contribute? That way you could get people to do some relevant work for the 'money'. Also, I think that if possible, the money should be renamed, even to just N$ or something. It's pretty confusing for someone new to find 'money' which seems authentic to a certain extent if they first join. The 'transaction history'/'bank' doesn't really help either, especially considering that a primary driver of the entire translation community, whether people want to admit it or not, is donations. Jk can you add a mastercard + visa logo to the page please?
Well fake NUF money is worth a lot. So I'm thinking an exchange rate of 1 USD to 0.02 NUF, right, right?? But you can't actually buy them or you'll get banned, don'tchaknow? But Aici, there's the risk of people spam posting reviews they don't really put a lot of thought into just to farm NUF money. At least there is for now, when it's still new and people are being silly about it.... and spam User releases means more work for mods .. . Also, @Tony has no taste and thinks "$" looks better than "Nuffies"
@Tony I would like to cash this in please. Implementing most features creates more work for the mods. Think of ways around it like having an approved list of reviewers (wouldn't even need to approve their reviews), setting a high character limit, or blocking people from writing reviews if they abuse the system. You could even give some people some kind of mid level privileges where they have the ability to approve reviews. Instead of thinking about how it will increase the workload for mods, why don't you try and think of ways how you can use the community to reduce the workload for the mods?
Possibilities of merchandise list. 1. Badge 2. 140+word profile post 3. Different color name in post 4. Different frame in avatar 5. Community games 6. Trophy point
It will be great if you can differ the amount in the threads, for example, the ones in novel discussion can amount to $7 or even $10 since we are primarily a novel discussion site The ones in General 5 and the ones in community game 3-4 since it's easier to spam there Also instead of $ sign call it Nuffers with N sign or something lol As what it can be exchanged, how about badges (flags, Nuf related, or a fan of something) and if possible, a background? (Yea i ripped that off discord lol) @Tony just a thought
