Hello, newbie here! I just want to ask if anyone can summarize the 3 ways to survive in that world according to our MC? I seem to remember that he already gave those 3 points but I can't connect how they can survive by following those ways.

Or maybe I am just blabbering things..?

 

1. Regressor.
2. Returnee.
3. Reincarnator.

Edit: Also, Gilyoung lost his cookie point with hyung-nim by indirectly insulting his face too. Poor Dokja, he is only ugly because he is literally surrounded by fictional characters that are freakingishly attractive

 

I think there are indications given in the novel hinting that Dokja's appearance may have been filtered/censored. Or at least, to certain characters, they appeared shocked when hearing that Dokja is being labeled as ugly and Dokja himself always insisted that he was decent looking. And then there's the cover of the novel to look at...

 

He looks pretty cool in the cover though? The left one I'm assuming is when the Way of Survival took over and the right is before this entire fiasco happened.

But huh... that's interesting, never thought of his appearing being censored

 

For the cover, I always assumed the one on the left was Yoo Jonghyuk and the one on the right as Dokja. At least, I don't think it's depicting a single person but two.

Apart from the hardly noticeable difference in eye color, the one in the left looks like Korean celebrity Lee Jong-suk (W, While You Were Sleeping) which would automatically give Dokja a girlfriend.

 

Maybe that's where the illustration was based at?

Either way, if one of those person in the illustration was Dokja he wasn't ugly at all imo

Kim Dokja is raising (-cough- acting as the mother of -cough-) two mentally questionable children and he also has a partner (-cough- husband) that has regression depression. It seems that his family has a number of problems in regards to their mental well being.

In regards to official manhwa....The book doesn't have one. When I sometimes read the raws or search in their Korean sites I could see fans illustrate some of the events that are happening or they just make some art. To be exact, I have a couple of folders of images and art of ORV. Some could be considered the illustration of events like the time Yoo Jonghyuk first met Kim Dokja on the bridge and Uriel shipping them as KDJ spoon fed the BookMC. So yeah, there are plenty of art for the fandom. Particularly for the Yoo Jonghyuk x Kim Dokja ship. That said, there are also who ship Lee Hyunsung with KDJ. One just have to be really patient just to find one.

Then about the book cover...The book cover shows both Yoo Jonghyuk and Kim Dokja side-by-side. There are some obvious differences like their features with YJH being more handsome and having the signature neck gear and coat. Meanwhile, KDJ has a smartphone and has the less arrogant outlook compared to his partner.
