I’ve MTLed some comments on Ridi, so here’s a short summary of reader’s impressions on the novel (no major spoilers) Spoiler: MTLed reviews Most readers were fine with the novel and found it okay to read. It looks like there are a lot of small accidents happening after the marriage, but all of them are solved without much angst and pressure. The overall impression was that the plot is quite predictable, but smooth. Some readers said that ML is a bit frustrating and has a lot of secrets, but very loving and caring towards MC, like a big dog. MC is quite active and has a warm heart. It looks like MC is controlling weather, at least in her husband’s land, but it wasn’t clear from the comments whether she has this power herself or it happens because of her husband’s mood and she’s a medium. ML is a descendant of a dragon. Childhood and curse where mentioned in one if the comments without much context, so can be anything actually. My first thought was that ML and MC knew each other a long time ago, but it can be completely wrong. One reader said the novel reminded them if Lucia, whatever it could mean. Readers mentioned that it’s a ropan, but it’s totally unclear who was reborn or transmigrated.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the term ropan/rofan just mean romantic-fantasy? I didn't think there necessarily had to be a transmigration/reincarnation/time-travel element for the story to fit into the genre?
You’re probably right! I was always under impression that isekai and ropan are the same thing in different languages. But I’d be happy if this novel doesn’t have any reincarnation, because sometimes it’s overused.
