I am deeply disturbed by carrots. They hide under the ground in order to disguise their nefarious nature, much like a leek.
I'm weird desu~ I hate sweet stuff (not all of them) and i prefer bitter to Ultra Spicy Stuff Hahahaha~ generally if i don't like the food my mum prepared i'd just put some spicy condiments on it and it makes the food really delicious (for my standards anyways)
I used to be super picky about fruits and veggies but as I grew older my tastes have changed and I'm fine with most stuff, although I still hate steamed veggies
Onions, but you've already taken it... Tsk. Garlic? .. No, just when there's way too much.. Hmmm... There are a lot of things I don't really care for and won't eat, but nothing I can think of that I hate with a fiery passion, like onions. Mainly because it's so hard to escape them. For example. Every fast food place in existence wants to put them on burgers, no matter how many times you ask them not to...
on the note of onions, I usually just drop an onion, two or so cloves of garlic and some green onions into just about every dish I cook these days. Can't go wrong with that
Agreed desuu~ In my country we have an unbelievable amount of ways to cook food from basically anything lying around (in the pandemic we never really encountered shortage in food cuz my mum has a lot of stuff in her garden that generally would look like weeds if you're not from my place) and most of them taste weird, though these days i'd just put some spicy stuff in it to make it palatable for me
I'm really weak to spicy stuff too! But my dad and brother likes them so yah... no escape Same. There's this veggie/fruit(?) called bitter gourd, I don't touch it at all when I was younger but now I just accepted the fact that eating something you mildly dislike is better than wasting food. Do you hate the taste itself?
Spice is life, gotta make you nearly shed tears speaking of seafood, have you tried mussels? I tried some last month and they were just ok and nothing particularly special
