I dunno why you are trying to compare TMW with ATG but tournaments in TMW was way too boring for me compared to atg, you consider brick part as unique but the cultivation in TMW is what makes me like it more like how each chapter you will see yi yun grow and everything explained in detailed even if it's depended on his purple crystal author still spends most of his chapter in exposure of cultivation in a good way. Although character development in power up is good but his character develops in tooth for tooth and eye for eye kind of stereotype which you are hating. All those young masters are not in low amount at all compared to atg. Killing aside from burning haven clan the kill count is atg is actually very low but the girls are too many actually but that is also one of the main point of that novel so it's also matter of taste personally i am enjoying both XD
