I will be honest I dont fully understand how this new skill works but based on what people said, blacksmithing and tailoing got permamently fused so he cant stack bonus from blacksmithing and tailoring so 30% bonus is only thing that will apply to anything he makes, whatever its pure blacksmithing or tailoring or both.

I know stat bonuses got nerfed in the past as grid got ability to produce high tier gear grown, actually while ability to gain stats from lower tier gear vanished the bonus from gained from myth tier gear grown, like at level 8 legendary blacksmith skills given 10 stat bonus, when it become Genuine - (Fighting against the Gods) it granted 20 points, when skill got upgraded to Blacksmith's Skill Comparable to a God it granted 30 points.
But still I could understand this nerf if grid gained ability to craft gear above myth tier, but thats not the case, actually grid ability to produce high tier gear actually got nerfed, since before lowest tier gear he could make was unique after "upgrade" its only epic with only high chance of making unique, and because how RNG works adding new possibility to crafting chance means actually lower chance of legendary and myth tier gear being made.

I wont lie the whole thing about ego confuses me, did he lose advanced ego making skill ? that makes no sense since Grid got it as part of pagma successor class quest line and it wasnt that long ago, why would progress on quest line of your class remove skill that it granted you not that long ago.

If I remember correcly Pavranium was granted ego from normal ego granting skill orginally not advanced one, which means you can add ego to whole mineral to function as base ego though it will mean ego will be torn apart every time grid will make something out of it like what happen to orginal soul in Pavranium before it was freed. from the moment he freed the soul from Pavranium, it and greed should have been ego-less and Grid has to add ego to each object(including greed hand) manually.

It may be that one of the advantages of the new setup is that cumulatively he can produce much better results. If his underwear also adds bonuses, and he can maybe even make jewelry that he couldn't before like what Elizabeth makes (since it's a more generalized production skill)... Then on net the effect he can achieve may be far stronger than before.

Maybe he needs to build a new Myth class needle for himself also that increases probability of higher tier underwear, but with that, all his followers should be stronger.

Plus, he can likely now make Myth level robes for Braham - assuming he has some designs to go off of...

    -

It's sad that Grid never abused making Braham's legendary robes for the extra stats, even after he conquered that nation that produced the raw materials he needed - dude's minmaxing instincts are terrible.

Personally, I think the author should've done that. It's exciting for readers, and it's not like Grid's stats actually mean anything in terms of how far he's able to challenge enemies in the story. A great demon or god can be however strong the story requires to make things exciting.

My problem with this upgrade is that it seems that focus of this upgrade is mass production and making production easier but at cost of maximum possible quality, it may make his guild and kingdom much stronger then without the upgrade, and as a whole it may be better increasing power as a whole of him and all his friends, but at cost of maximum possible power of items he creates, so it weakens him individually, I hate stuff like this, also it feels like author goes against what he said in recent chapters, it was said that S.A Group wants "satisfy" world to be consistant, even at risk of something inbalanced happen, as what happen with grid getting orginal 100,000 Army Swordsmanship, yet this "upgrade" goes against consistancy of progress of blacksmith skills, instead of calling it upgrade it would be better described as sidegrade since it buffs some things and nerfs others .

This whole upgrade as a whole is weird since quest for this upgrade was part of pagma successor quest line, yet the "evolved" skill is NOT pagma successor class skill...

No , if you read well you would notice he's commenting on the function of his new craftsmanship skill , which includes grant an ego but not ego making. Advanced ego making was not absorbed in the skill, thus Grid is disappointed(he probably thought he could intentionally make egos like growth items if that was the case). It doesn't say that he lost the skill, it says he's disappointed his skill doesn't have the create an ego function.

This isn't the biggest problem for me. The biggest problem is the Potential Limit and new Skills/Events which Grid used to get when 3 Myth-rated Items were created. The Deity Stat should also be included. Otherwise, the other nerfs can be taken lightly, but these three reasons made it the worst 'fusion' (not upgrade) possible.

I still think that this limit would be removed when Grid clears [Pagma's Successor] Class Quest, [Pagma's Successor] Class becomes a Myth (through the [Glimpsed of Myths] or something else), Grid makes some Myth (Transcendent) Items to breakthrough the Potential Limit, or once he finally becomes a God by Race.

If Grid gets to divinity lv.8 (currently at 7) and Diety stat at 15 and uses Origin True energy he would reach Divinity Lv.10 maybe he can become a Racial God for 1 minute.

hm i don't think so tbh , the skill represents his limits, a cap on his potential:
As you see, potential unlocking is impossible, it's because he reached his maximum potential, simply said, the only way to improve the skill is to do what he's always done, but in blacksmithing this time, He needs to transcend his limits. All grid's epics have been about combat and transcending his own emotional, mental and physical limits, however they are all related to combat, remains the question, did radwolf and other production transcendents reach transcendence by fighting strong enemies? I don't think so , Grid has transcended his limits in combat but not once in blacksmithing, because he never met a wall or cap in BS until now. What grid needs to do is increase his transcendence with blacksmithing this time, however since he has much more talent and prowess in blacksmithing than in combat, his limits are much higher, thus reaching transcendence in blacksmithing is harder , the only possibility to do that right now imo is to write an epic about blacksmithing. Completing pagma's quest should not release his limiter as the skill represents his limits as overgeared god Grid , not as pagma's successor which he has surpassed long ago.

Nah, you are just giving one option. I have already said that making some Myth (Transcendent) Items should help. This already contains going beyond the Potential Limit placed on Grid's Craftsmanship Skill and possibly triggering an Epic. Also, when Grid made his first Myth-rated Item, the [Red Phoenix Bow], his Skill upgraded. At 12th Myth-rated Item, he broke through the Limits of [Legendary Blacksmith's Craftsmanship], Chapter 1276. But it is when he already had Potential, but creating Myth (Transcendent) Items also represents the breaking through the Limits. As the Maximum Rating possible is only Myth.

As for the other options, the Skill is a Power of Overgeared God. He is also considered a Blacksmith God, albeit a small one because most of the Faith goes towards Pagma. He isn't a proper God like Hexetia. He hasn't unlocked his full Potential of that Status. Possibilities can't be neglected only because of one option.

Also, making Pagma's Successor a Myth Class would help. That's what I am saying. I am not against it, I am just talking about the Possibilities and Paths. Transcendence isn't the only Path, the Divinity and Mythical Class are too.

No, what you're talking about is the event, not the concept so it's not the same thing. Sure creating a myth(transcendent) item may trigger an epic and make him transcend his limits, however the cause of the evolution remains transcendence not making the item so your point isn't accurate. Grid's skills were upgraded by simple crafts because they still had potential , however here it is explicitly STATED that no potential remains so just a normal event or craft won't make him break it, he needs to achieve transcendence.

And no you're also wrong he isn't considered a blacksmithing god, you can go read his 10th epic and see it doesn't mention his aspect as a blacksmithing god, this was also partially explained in his divinity upgrade where his achievements as a blacksmith depended on pagma's as well, so until he transcends his own limits he probably won't qualify for it. Transcendence is the only path because the only way to break through potential barriers is transcendence so far, divinity and status help you grow to reach your max potential, not once did they allow you to break through your potential itself. You can look at kraugel, at Biban, at Muller, At radwolf , at hayate, none of them broke through their limits thanks to divinity or class status increase, but through transcending their limits and becoming transcendents.

Nah, only you are genius. You don't even have the guts to consider other options because you only like your options. Divinity and Transcendence are two sides of the same coin. Both are concepts. If Transcendence can produce God Killers, then Divinity can also create a Martial God like Chiyou. If Transcendence can achieve something, then Divinity and Deity can do too. You just have to say that you are correct and others are just retards, and that's not how the World works. There is diversity and other ways to do the same work and reach the same destination.

There's no actual stats percentage released but there are hints in the older chapters of what it is but later on got removed due to revision. It's pretty outdated info anyways the author may add something or change the whole thing, it's just what I've remembered in the old hints I've read.

So did any native speakers, maybe in the Discord, happen to clarify whether Grid can still imbue soulless egos?

Think of how the blacksmithing skill works with better minerals. A better mineral increases the performance of the item, but the mineral itself doesn't say "Improves stats by x%". The mineral just says it's very rare. Morpheus takes rare minerals and rewards the player by increasing the item's performance.

Many items use cloth. Armor in particular often has cloth to attach pieces together. You can look at pictures of armor to see that on the gaps there is very often cloth. Grid is the ultimate tailor now, so he can add better cloth materials into his equipment. Morpheus will reward him for doing this.

Grid will have high-level ore and high-level cloth in his equipment. The base value of the items will simply be higher because he has a combination of high-level materials constructed with the ultimate skills. Then the 30% bonus comes on top of that. Ultimate blacksmith + Ultimate Tailor + 30% will definitely be much better than a myth-blacksmith + 40% & advanced tailor.

It wouldn't make sense for the game to reduce Grid's potential at his final upgrade. The game has never weakened a player for development before. Also, Grid 100% would have complained about it in the last chapter's monologue if he felt cheated by the system.

But surely it's like a flash type/blind for launching barrage of energy blades or rather from this sentence to from wuxia.
"Grid was confused as the dozens of energy blades disappeared from sight.

“Master!” Noe’s desperate shout rang out. The Blade Aiming at the Gods suddenly changed its course and flew over Grid’s head.

‘This...!’ The frightened Grid raised his head toward the sky. He saw the energy blades filling the sky. It was an amazing sight, much like an aurora was unfolding."

The devil is in the details. The author has made serious errors regarding level and intelligence stat. According to chapter 1249, Grid's intelligence value is: 2,896 (+1,943). In the current chapter, the author claims: " In addition, the sum of the title effects that are already becoming 50, the options of the item being worn, the bonus tang that you get each time you make a mythic item, and the stat that has risen with the shell of Hyunmu is 5,303.". If we simply add up the additional 800 intelligence that comes from Hell Gao's drops to the value from c.1249, we would get a higher value, let alone if we include all the stat bonus from mythical item, additional stats from leveling and the 19% intelligence from the statue buff... This is just false.

The bigger problem is with Grid's level though. He was at least level 443 after Haegak raid and is currently level 455. This means if we exclude the +6 from tailoring and +3 from Dantalian, Grid gained 3 levels from killing 10 great demons and their armies. He killed great demons 33, 31, 30, 28, 27, 26, 24, 23, 22, and 21. Grid generally takes the first place contribution in such raids. It is simply impossible to suspend our disbelief over how slow Grid's leveling speed is given all the bonuses he enjoys. 266% from enlightenment, 20% from Nefelina's blessing (when killing non-boss monsters, it's 10%) and another 10.9% from the enlightenment sword. He kills bosses most players have maybe contacted once or twice over their careers and consistently gets the top spot while raiding them. Furthermore, there is the bonus from killing them in hell which increases their levels, stats, and abilities giving even more experience. It is simply unbelievable for Grid to not have gained more levels.

Grid's level also supports my thesis that timeskips are actually timetravels. Grid doesn't gain anything between them. 3 months passed and this hasn't given him a level? It's simply a way of adjustment for the national competition. Grid spent 2 months trying to find information on Mir according to c.1376 and he didn't learn anything he did not know at c. 1305. Then, there is the infamous passage from c.1390: "Nevertheless, Grid confirmed through his experience gauge that the 120,000 troops had been pushed to the brink of destruction. It was around 10%. He had gained experience equivalent to one month of hunting.". Hunting mobs for a year gives 1-2 levels at most. Yeah, the author has lost his grip on the story and is randomly throwing out statements out there to fill the word count. At this point, no player other than maybe yura and Kraugel should be over level 415 (since those 2 are the only ones that hunt boss level enemies).

He also has upgrades like being able to add better magic casually now. And he may be able to not only build more things, but maybe also incorporate more kinds of things into what he is building (like jewels for accessories).

The ego thing likely also has a lot of potential, as long as Grid can find a suitable source of souls - as he found with his initial experiment with Hellgao - maybe he can go to Hell and use his dominance to get tons of succubi to become spirits of his weapons (or something better)... He can also now casually switch egos between items.

In the past, calling Iyarugt used up one use of his ego granting skill. But now, he could theoretically use Iyarugt's enhancement in every single sword he goes into combat with (as long as Iyarugt is willing)

Maybe he should try calling the Yangban who may be rotting in Hell. A sword might be a better home than them. lol

    -

And as for his combat ability, with the ability to create infinite fusion swords now... His net combat ability has likely gone up by a lot, even if the individual items he makes are slightly less powerful.

In which case, the mass production ability will help him tons... The mass production of high quality items ability, is a better fit for a king anyway - since all of those people are effectively his own power.

It's Overgeared Skeletons. 'Temppal' means Overgeared, and 'Gol' means Skeleton. Grid would be trying to evolve [Overgeared Skeleton Two] into a Lich with [Galgunos' Core].
