Damn, im so mad that they spent time on a side character by a whole episode (Episode 11), Yet they rushed the blood emperor and Ainz meet and great (Episode 9), It was so damn rushed that plot-point feels odd and forced, I though episode 11 would be the massacre or atleast preparation for massacre. I even Stayed late, since new episodes come out 11pm or later here in our country.
lies...vol 9 is my favorite vol because of that meeting...how could it be rushed any anime that would rush that may as well be rushed or count as canon
I only read the wikipedia summary, too much filler in between that poorly planned story, but otherwise entertaining.
I feel u brother. Poorly planned, filler? Did we read the same Overlord? Or someone just acted like he read it when he didn't bother to read it
Watch Episode 9 again, its so weird and too fast, they even put fluder meet and great at the end, by 20-30 seconds only
That’s not true at all the novel focuses a lot on side character POV’s which in itself can be to some extent classified as a filler~
If you read the subreddit or anything about overlord before ep11 and watched the ep11 pv, you wouldn't be disappointed like right now. and the problem in the ep9 isn't the pace of the meeting, it's the place, the empty f**king throne room scene.
I guess I dodged a bullet. Ainz was like a guest star in season 2. I guess it is not really a surprise
It's not filler if because they do that to build up the stroy/arc... filler is when they do/show something that has nothing to do with the story. The reason they showed the adventure's pov is to show how human they are and how inhuman ainz is becoming.
Is it really too much to ask for the highlight for season 3 which is the "meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees"?
In the novels, after goblin army appeared, there no other mention of enri's army afterwards, its like Code Geass Ressurection, After trailer, nothing, no date, no news.
Despite being satisfied with this season, i also thinks its cheaply, unlike season 1. Kinda disappointed. Is it different director, or budget constraint, or both?
Actually this is how it plays out in the novel. The novel had an entire chapter dedicated to Carne village before transitioning to the battlefield. So they're just following the novel to a tee.
