    So, I'm checking new threads, to you know, shit post.
    So, I click on one.
    So, I get shoved to the newest post.

    Why?
    I haven't touched the damn thread before, why am I viewing the last post when I want to see OP?

    you do know bioterrorism doesn't work with zombie, they work with chemical, viruses, and other shit (sometimes shit too). no zombies, they're just myth that doesn't live long under the sun before they became a jerky.

    Weird, I always go to the OP when I go to a thread I never checked before.

    There is no option related to it on the "preferences" as well, so... I don't know?
    Oh, that's where you're going to it... Seems like a function of the "new threads" section is to always send it to the newest post of the thread...

    @Tony , I think it would be nice to change it to sending you to the OP, Pieface is right in saying that, more often than not, you'll want to go to the first post of those threads.

    Hmm, I can understand new posts going to the latest post, but not the newest threads. It would be nice changing it so it sends you to the OP in newest thread section.

    It's probably just the way that xenforo (or the mod if it is one) runs it. The same way as latest posts widget is run, but just displayed by thread creation date.

    Just scroll up a bit.
