    Hey, so I recently got the latest update to my Samsung Galaxy S6edge plus... But it is giving me problems.

    Anyone know of a way to revert back to my previous version?

    I don't want to sound negative and out of topic, but don't they explode? Just last month another S6 exploded in the news. Just yesterday an S6 exploded in England.

    Luckily Note 3 is fine. I have had mine for over two years. I like Samsung but now I will wait till their newest phones don't explode. You would think this would come up in the testing phase.

    .. mine too... so i downloaded the earlier version of firmware as well as samsung kies and odin and flashed the shit out of it .,, and voila it's back .... *nod* *nod*

    Requirements :
    1. Official firmware file for the model number of your device, download it from SamMobile orSamsung-Updates or official download
    2. Latest version of Odin3 tool. (Link below)
    3. Samsung Smart Switch or Samsung mobile USB driver. (Links below)
    4. Charged Samsung galaxy S6 or S6 edge.
    5. USB cable and Windows PC.
    Steps :
    1. Backup your data
    2. Download, install Samsung driver or Smart Switch.
    3. Download, unzip firmware file and odin.
    4. Double-click odin3 tool, click AP and navigate to the *.tar or *.tar.md5 firmware file.
    5. Put your phone into download mode (Vol Down+Home+Power) then Vol Up.

    6. Connect your device to the computer and wait until you get a sign in ID:COM section and "Added" in message box.

    7. Don't change odin's options.
    8. Click Start and wait few minutes until you see "PASS!" in odin.
    9. If your phone stuck in bootloop, reboot your device into recovery mode then choose factory reset.
    Done!

    Notes :
    • Do not disconnect the USB cable while flashing process is running.
    • Install Samsung Mobile Driver or Samsung Smart Switch if you don't see a sign in Odin.
    • Flash your device at your own risk.
    • Flashing firmwares which contains more than one *.tar.md5 file will wipe all data on internal storage.
    • Flashing official/stock firmware won't increase the binary flash nor KNOX WARRANTY VOID counter and won't cancel the device's warranty.
