Synopsis:
Basically a girl from modern times chokes on her tea, dies, and transmigrates into the body of a Chongxi bride to a sick young man with a mysterious identity (Chongxi is a bride given to a sick person w/ belief that good luck of marriage will cure the partner's illness). She takes care of her husband while making tofu, raising her own business, and catching the eyes of important figures. She discovers later on that her hubby is actually a young master of a prominent clan, who had to escape after being plotted against.

The hubby is in the same situation as her...he woke up in the middle of his sickness only to find that the villagers wedded him while he was unconscious to a Chongxi bride. Their romance is gradual and very sweet, and he becomes very protective of her....

Someone please pick up this novel!

REASON WHY I DROPPED:
This is absolutely one of my most favorite novels but unfortunately, I don't have the time to translate it with all my current projects and schoolwork. Also, at wordexcerpt, we tried negotiating with their publisher but they said they won't let us monetize it, but they let me continue doing fan translations....

they said however that they should be free to use my fan translations for their own purposes later on

BUT
if there are any translators out there who love the story and are fine with translating 'Sickly Husband' for free, I bet you that you will find a TON of readers for this one. The story is amazing as it progresses, and I even find it similar to 'General to Plow the Fields' and 'Trangmigrator vs. Reincarnator' in their business building and world buidling aspects.....

I only have one question.
What's the average word count per chapter?

 

it's usually around 2000 Chinese characters per chapter (and around 1,800 english words more or less depending on your translation style)

 

Are you sure? That fits my requirements a little too perfectly

 

It would be great of you could pick it up...
Just be careful with xxsy though cuz they've been stingy about monetizing their novels (although 80% of my favorite novels are in their website TT^TT I think they're a company under Qidian)

But I'm a big fan enough of The Lady's Sickly Husband to want the story to at least continue, even if it's fan translations
