Everything looked amazing! The only slight sticking point was dynamax, but that seems to actually be a pretty short feature (only lasting 3 moves). And the only place it seems to even be used would be Raids and gym battles, so it probably won't interfere much with actual gameplay. The new pokemon look absolutely awesome. A new steel/flying pokemon! Great stuff.
I'm glad the Pokemon still wander around Instead of just being Invisible and only encounterable In the grass. Makes It look/feel better In my opinion.
Because its after the british isles. Which is quite popular for knights although probably not as much as the French but they already made a region out of it, which was Kalos.
I can’t really imagine much people buying the shield version since sword sounds more appealing than shield, that is unless people are still hyped about Shield Hero then but I doubt it since things die off quickly nowadays. I think that calling it Sword and Spear would’ve been more appealing. Also can someone briefly tell me what differences there are going to be between the two different versions?
Every last bit of hope I had for SnS has now died. *yawns* Actually, I think I should just ignore the series from now on. The new Yokai Watch seems to have a more interesting combat system in place now anyway
Shoot shoot shoot this is the first time the internet has failed me this year!! Pokemonpokemonpokemonpokemon
Love the roaming pokemon feature. Looks beautiful. I also like the Prof. Magnolia and her granddaughter assistant. We finally get another older prof! They probably wont- but I hope they introduce features from older generations. Mega Evolutions, hidden grooves, secret bases, and perhaps a way to go underwater like what the Dive HM did. I think I'm okay without the walking pokemon with you, but itll be fun that if you have a pokemon a small size in your party, to have it go on your shoulder or head. Not a big fan of the dynamax feature. It's a bit lazy and a lot of the simple designs of pokemon- like the starter pokemon- dont quite work that well big. It would work better if they had more intricate designs. Adding a bit of realism and the implications l, what would happen if you dynamaxed a heavy pokemon like steelix and tyrantar? They are already huge and could easily destroy a town in Galar at an even bigger size. Not the biggest fan of the legendaries. The colour scheme seems a bit off to me but I could grow to like it. The sword held in Zacian's mouth seems attachable. Which seems bit weird to me because it's a very human weapon, and the only other cases we have is Aegislash; a possessed ghost sword/shield, Klinklang and co. and Magearna, which all both man made pokemon for the most part. Not sure what plot significance the legends will have to the story, but I hope it's more than Yveltal and Xerneas ever did. They felt more like add-ins that didnt feel significant at all. All-in-all, this region has given me heavy Generation 2/Johto vibes, although it is based in more traditional Japanese culture, rather than England for the Galar region. The sheep has parallels with Mareep, Eldegoss with Jumpluff, Drednaw a weird Totodile, Mudkip and Turtwig cross. The legendary duo remind me of the legendary dog trio. Taxibird- Corviknight just reminds me of night mode which was first introduced in gen 2 as well, but a bit more extreme.
Not sure about a legendary Pokémon holding a sword, I think the design should look similar to Keldeo or something like this:
Well you know it was going to happen sooner or later. But still Kaijuu battles are 1000% better than Z-moves imo. I do like the sound of the raiding together with others. I like the look of the sword mon but I do think its quite odd that it looks like it just picked up the sword. Unless it has a backstory of forging its own sword over time using a heatran or something it doesn't fit.
