Recommendations Power Fantasy where MC eventually becomes a god

Every power fantasy needs power, REAL power fantasy needs REAL power!

I'm looking for web/light novels where acquires power to rival gods. I'm mainly thinking there about Isekai, because this genre has the biggest tendency towards power growth, but I'm not locking myself to it.
Preferably Japanese in origin, but I'm willing to make exception if it really suits my preferences.
Also it would be better if MC actively tried to get himself stronger unlike with Evil God Average.
I am not afraid to use MTL to continue a good novel, so if it is barely translated, it still matches.

Every CN novel ever.
You can also go ahead and read Toikas stuff (KR). Characters end up in the god tiers eventually... and its usually an entertaining read.
I recommend the later, obviously.

If this is the genre you're interested in then you're really missing out by sticking with JP novels over CN novels.

CN novels are almost all aboUT cultivation, and they almost all end up with the MC eventually turning into a deity.

Start with the author I Eat Tomatoes. Every novel he's written usually involves actual deities from Chinese mythology becoming buddies with his MC, or the MC becomes master of the known universe.

Also, for a change of pace check out Will Wight's Cradle series. It's basically a good western fantasy author writing his own version of a Chinese Web novel. Same sort of power dynamic and cultivation system of eventually working your way to godhood.

Young Ancients series does this as well, you can read them on Kindle Unlimited.

Tbh if you're going to get CN novels you should have some other WN/LN from the japanese and korean too it gets tiring very fast so its always good to have something else

With OP hero i just read manga (the 3 chapters that were at that moment) so I didn't even thought about reading WN, thanks.
Almadianos Eiyudeen I haven't even seen the manga, since it didn't appear when i was filtering by isekai tag. That's the find I was hoping for!
CN and KR novels I'm putting off for later since they have completely different feel, and it will take time for me to get used to them.

A wild last boss WN its actually being translated you can check it yourself in the NU but i only recommend if you are able to actually wait for updates since its still not fully translated

I remembered that Arifureta also ends with characters with powerlevel that rivals gods at least thats what i remember about it

Also if you don't mind reincarnate as a monster or things like that its probably a good way for you to find characters what will end this way,i actually have yet to cross with a novel that the mc has reincarnated into a monster or something that didnt end becoming strong enoug hto rival some godlike entity

 

Tried. I really tried. Story is nice but narrator is way too edgy. At least in manga that doesn't shows.

Tried that, that's how I found "re:dragon's egg". Problem is to find one decently written. Plus even in these novels sometimes MCs start going slice of life route.

 

Tbh if its not CN novels you're kind of out of luck i also really like this kind of story where the mc start to get stronger and at some point ascend to godhood or get power rivaling other gods, but or you get a more slice-of-life novel or you barely get one at all and after so much CN i'm thristy for seeing some JP novel with this kind of development, if you ever start really reading CN novels you will understand how you can get tired since its pretty much always the same in a way but thats fiction for you
