There is some stuff that recently came up and isn't by hacks or loonies, I've seen them on Joe Rogan's show. Guys like Bob Lazar, Graham Hancock and Commander Fravor - the guy who officialy chased an UFO in a jet, published by Pentagon and New York Times.
So according to Graham, the Great Flood which is in many mythologies did in fact happen 12 000 years ago and wiped out civilization that was at least capable of navigating open ocean - so our 18th century.
There's something about DNA in the America's natives, how some pharoh's priest told father of Socrates that 9000 years ago great flood wiped out everything except and they are the keepers of knowledge about these catastrophies that cyclically happen. Also that they were thought by the survivors of this advanced civilization, linking them with Mayans and others in culture. Socrates told Plato I think and Plato told us about Atlantis.

Bob Lazar is the scientist who was hired to try to figure out one of the UFO's crashed in USA, they can fly them but they don't know how they work and they can't look inside or reverse engineer them. They fly using antigrav same as UFO's that commander Fravor chased.

Could these be our ancestral civilization that was sick of being hit by natural disasters(including meteors) and went under sea, or another species that evolved before us, Bob said the sits were meant for something the size of a child, or just straight up extraterrestrials?

Clearly they are observing us but not wanting to get into contact. I don't think it'd be wise to go over their spot they seem to gather around and probe them with sonars(their ships go under water, when you have antigrav you don't give a fuck).

It'd be sweet if humanity can skip that pathetic sci fi phase of space colonozitation with chemical thrust and go straight up to antigrav.

flood catastrophe is nothing new cuz human settlement usually close to water which pretty logical one be the use of simple water source, agriculture, transportation or economy so if there flood occurred consider past technology of ancient civilizations we know so far multiple sources of similar accident is not beyond rare~ the similar stuff only about disaster is it may god wrath be it flood, earthquake, typhoons, tsunami, volcano eruption etc~

for alien stuff, it interesting idea~ curiosity about new stuff perhaps not so unique for one sentient species~
anyway putting all ancient civilization toward alien credit imo kinda underestimate human intelligent of past civilization which show how arrogant modern human lol~ just because of they not have current tech it doesn't mean they stupid and cannot use thing around them to make stuff~ mathematics is the prove of that~

Floods are common true, but they're talking about a great one that happens only when meteorites hit. Joe had another guest, some Geodude that talked about the evidence of sudden rushes of water across North America and not multiple small floods happening like the conservatives believe.

and the water rush happen on what era? is it have relationship with end of ice age? is it truly meteoric impact truly the cause? how about geology activity on the area around the sudden flood arise? maybe mostly still unknown this cat presume?
tbh rather than conservative most scientists ask for concrete evidence which kinda brutal cuz scientists really like to nitpic anyflaw on every theory similarly scholar historian~
a lost civilization or multiple one still within realm of possibility, calling it advance is relative to other civilization exist at same timeline tho so maybe if general people not put on high hope of flying battleship we may find one or two stuff~

the glaring flaw of battleship ancient civilization imo they really like put vague stuff together~ its not bad per see for attracting interest toward serious stuff it just to put thing that against mainstream idea we need extraordinary evidence~

These scientists refuse to admit that what texbooks had said for decades is wrong. Especially American archeologists who refuse to dig pass the layer where the found Clovis hunter gatherers coz obviously there will be nothing older than them, right obviously coz they know everything.
Scientific history has heretics who everyone mocks, and then after years of struggle, being discredited, losing funding, they end up being right with a weak apology. Ofc I'm not talking about your every loon and crook, but actual scientists.
He makes a point that hunter gatherers didn't hunt to extiction the mamoths, lol they pretty much avoided them. Not only were they unable to do so other than taking few at a great cost, they would only hunt how much they needed like every other hunter gatherer society. Extiction event killed them, they suspect the summer meteor shower we get every year.
Geodude showed pics of the coast where he explained why this kind of damage was caused by a super tsunami, as in dozens of times bigger than what we have today.
There is no hard civilization evidence after such a catastrophe, if we were hit by a similar event, we would also leave absolutely nothing behind after 10 thousand years.
Eh watch the videos instead of asking me the details, also I'm terrible at explaining.

Too many flaws with all that. Archeologists have dug down to fossils hundreds of millions of years old. Saying they "refused" to dig in one spot doesn't mean they didn't dig deeper in thousands of spots. Indeed there's 6 sites that are older than the Clovis hunter culture like the Bluefish caves that showed there were older cultures.

Secondly, if we were hit by a super tsunami there'd be tons of evidence still left 10,000 years later. We've left permanent scars across the entire world like blasting through hills and mountains for roads, and even mines that are thousands of feet deep. Those won't disappear in a Tsunami. Only a low tech civilization that didn't dramatically alter it's environment could be missed. A Bronze age civilization would leave a lot of relics since they don't rust away, but they might not be found for a while if they were very regional. But Bronze is enough to create large quarries and other permanent scars, so the longer they lasted, the wider they spread, the easier it would be to find their traces even without finding their artifacts like statues, swords, etc.

None of that means there couldn't be low tech ocean crossing civilizations, but large 18th century type civilizations are impossible. Stone age Polynesians crossed a fair bit of water and other cultures around the world did too.
