And then WY said to the emperor, usually a hero will marry the damsel that they saved, so the emperor asked YCQ if he willing to marry LCX in which he agreed, though in his heart he mumbled that the one who rushed in first is WY and he barely came in second.Anyway, JN ended up being prosecuted. This is the last conversation between WY and LCX LCX: I did not do this to help you today, I am only helping myself! Now that I am back to the Fu, you should let me off, I never wanted to see you again! WY: As long as you do not come to give me trouble, of course I will still regard you as my good sister, ah! This is from @scriptor's spoilers: -Emperor's health fails. After a series of misdirections, he announces his successor. Empress Pei reveals that the person he intended to make his successor was not his son (from love affair with half-sister) as he believed, but someone else. And that he actually pressed to his death the person who was his real son with the half-sister. Emperor dies in indignation and Empress Pei is happy because she could at last die with the person she one-sidedly loved. They go up in flames (literally) along with the building.
Zhao Yue becomes wholeheartedly loyal to Wei Yang, she becomes her trusted confidante and follows her everywhere she goes. Zhao Nan stays by Li Min De’s side as his bodyguard
She marries her childhood friend, the one that likes her but doesn’t really show it. They always fight when they are together and it’s very obvious to other people that he like her but she doesn’t know it. It was actually Wei Yang that convinced the princess to marry him. She told her that a princess is born high above others but she has her duties and stuff like that. I don’t remember the exact words because it’s been a long time since I read it
I guess he "loved" wei yang but in the im always best kinda way. he's so selfish that he thinks all the best things belong to him and gets so damn angry that when no one is there to corroborate how awesome he is or in wei yang's case tell him he's a fucking idiot
well... that's true in both timelines. when she does become empress and becomes old - he starts yearning for wei yang to the point that all his concubines had a resemblance of her. he also gets sick and tired of his pretty trophy since she gets more and more hysterical about losing her good looks.
