looking for a novel where the MC (preferably male) is a psychopath/murderer. the MC would probably have mental problems such as being antisocial/having a split personality/has killing tendencies (like an urge to kill/torture). and even if the MC is perfectly sane, the MC has to be SMART. no, the MC cannot just kill people in the middle of the streets and gets chased down like a wanted criminal, i want him to be feared because he's mysterious and dangerous. i don't mind if there's romance but it'd better be BL or just no romance. thanks in advance!

wait hold on i just realised the description may be a little ambiguous because i don't mean that the MC is killing people because they're a cultivator/mage or whatever that kills people because they're enemies/getting in the way of their stuff. what i'm trying to say is that the MC may have a job/profession (or not) and isn't killing because of the job/profession itself but rather kills people because he likes it/wants to. so i just you could just say that the MC is a part time murderer? mmyep something like that.

most mentally ill protagonists don't have killing tendencies or have the urge to kill people -Fake Saint Of The Year- low self esteem + gender identity disorder -Tensei Oujo wa Kyou mo Hata o Tatakioru- while not exactly the protagonist most characters/ capture targets in this story are mentally ill which is the reason why I enjoy it : -s&m knight that enjoys both inflecting and getting inflected by pain who is totally a mad dog a narcissistic young noble who believes that all other living things exist only so that they enjoy his existence a misanthropist mage that hates all human beings a misogynistic spy that hates all women in the world finally a mercenary that hates all living things including but not limited to humans ,animals , anything that lives , breathes and moves-
well that's why i also mentioned that if the MC is sane (and is going round killing people) he just has to be smart. the MCs i want don't necessarily need both the killing part and the mental illness part, either one (killing preferred) is fine.
