I often search new stories in 'I'm looking for' section' and saw people reccomend published books, one those reccomendations is novel about a child who got apprenticed to a wizard/mage/magician, that wizard also have other apprentices, most children use magic/ability that people often considered as useless but that wizard didn't think the same, those magic just underdeveloped and didn't receive right training. There's also reviews about this novel. I forgot the title and old review url *sigh*, already search in reccomendation section thrice but there;s many novel and books being reccomended... please help me find this story. Spoiler: Experts that I knew @Westeller @samjack @akki @Viola @perspherspley @Arcturus @Raneday @Rickymex @Robbini @WinByDying @Eques @Kutaifa @Guyver @pothb @Drunk Moon Resident Scholar @bromnath @Bad Storm @youseiki @Yog-Sothoth @Anontemp @SayMrrp Thanks.
CN, JP or KR ? Isekai (or the equivalent ) or not ? Magic that has no real record of proven capabilities worth anything or magic that seems too simple or is named like it's worthless ?
If it's about wizards just click on any of them and then click on the tag or use advance search if you remember any of the tags chances are you will find it.
Published? So western style? Nothing comes to mind rn but I'll help look around until someone manage to point out the book.
It really sounds like an 80's fantasy book. Yet, i don't think i know of that particular setup(i think), but i know a bunch of setups where wizards takes in a young apprentice. Magicians Apprentice is one that comes to mind immediately (and its good!) Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is also one. It could be Robin Hobbs Assassins apprentice(The Farseer trilogy)?
Knowing if it's CN, KR, or JP would probably be the biggest clue. The mage wizard stuff sound JP but apprentices usually means CN.
Thanks but not that It's western published novel Please remember It's not Farseer Trilogy, I already read assassin apprentice It's western published novel
