    FFS dude, Some site early on had lots of obtrusive ads that auto-plays video or redirects you to other webpage, I don't even cared 'bout that or disable my javascript/use AdBlock. QI had not, it's only a wall of ads that are unobtrusive and easy to load. If you're complaining that it slows your PC/laptop/Mobile, throw that away already, it's time to buy another, or change your shitty net speed.
    P.S. I am a WW supporter, it's just.... this kind of ppl triggers me.:blobangery:

    Here I was about to read Library of Heaven's Path on my phone then I get a "use our app to read" crap!!!

    So does this mean i won't be able to read chapters in qidian using mobile browsers unless I use their app?

    The app does not even show in the google store, who knows if the app is safe or not.

    Is there anyway to bypass this?

    I don't complain about their speed. Never! So you're wrong there. I do indeed think that these web novels aren't worth paying for. I'd rather pay for something worth it.

    Next they'll offer an ad-free monthly subscription for those who want to avoid the ads. They're well aware we don't like pay walls so they'll come up with new tricks to get at our pockets.

    Well lets get this shit clear and stop posting about this shit anymore.

    First what QI did is put ads on bonus chapters. Which means that instead of using things like patreon or paypal they puts ads.
    From my point of view it is better cause people from my country don't access to patreon or paypal.

    So please stop shit posting and your hater post.
    I want to read pics like back then and talks about novels in NUF.

    Wanting to introduce a VIP model (which their API kind of backs up) is what I'm afraid of. They basically took the already released chapters, made them VIP, or "bonus chapters" and put in ads. What's to stop them from ad-walling every chapter in the future, before they release a 5$ a month ad-free VIP account model?

    That's not actually what they did.

    Whoever implemented this change was lazy and set the ad-wall for the latest 2 chapters of every series. Most of the releases that have enforced ads/app usage aren't being listed on NU.

    Guys... its starting to happen. You can't read the qidan novels without being forced to download the app. Now, they only give a sentence or two as a supposed teaser.

    Ah, but they did differentiate between the stolen WW novels and their own stuff and laziness doesn't excuse the fact that it did happen for some novels of their site. :)

    (WW stolen novels don't have ads.)
