I think it's hinted more in the novel than in the manga, such as when she visits their mansion, he is quite sad because his sister have the chance to get close to her but he couldn't
Mc's brother actually is in love with her long time ago but since they're politically rivals, he didn't show his feelings
After all the hatred ends, he finally be able to be friends with her
And since his father beg them to get married no matter with who( he confirmed it with his father without telling the nameXD), he spent time to win her heart( he told his father it's difficult and takes time but he'll try )
Finally in the side stories mc and ml saw them going on a date~

it isn't destroyed, it just be constructed into kind of a political party (for King vs for aristocracy parties, I believe it can be connected with Whig and Tory in uk's history in reality)

 

I really want to see elise face when she know about their relationship (not gonna lie theyre a strong couple af )( kinda like romeo and juilet lol)

 

Oh and does the eldest brother (lenne) have a lover or something plus i read from namu wiki that the emperor once had a crush on elise mum so wtf

 

Yes Lenne propose to mc's maid but was rejected, then he went on dates with other noble ladies but were all rejected... Poor guy

emperor, mc's father and Mil's mother used to be good friends, they first meet mc's mother when they are together (to be more precise: while they in upper floor, mc's father saw a girl walking by through the window, so he run out the restaurant to chase her and bring her back to introduce to the others XD)and both have a crush on her, but mc's mother choose mc's father in the end, when the emperor was heartbreaking, thinking why she choose the playboy instead of him, and drunk, Ml's mother(Elise's mother's best friend) try to comfort him and confess to him (something like: the girl you love for a long time chose someone else, and I have to see the man I love crying for another woman) so they become close and the tragedy begin

 

Wait mc dad was a play boy holy quacamoly and is elise mum a noblelady sincw ml mum isnt and how old are the characters when ml become the emperor

 

what im confused then how did ML dad fell in love with ML mum?

so he fell in love will ellise mum,
fell in love with Mil’s mum bcs mil’s mum comfort him
then finally fall in love with Mil’s mum?

No i think it’s the emperor once fell in love with elise mum but elise dad ended up with her and the emperor and elise dad are close so when hes drunk he met linden mum and linden mum are bestie with elise mum and linden mum comfort him or something

I agree, yet it is still a surprisingly common trope in these types of stories it seems lol.

Then again, my cousin also low-key wants her baby boy to grow up and marry the daughter of her best friend, so.... who knows lol
