I think I am strange as I sneeze. Many people get embarrassed because of how cute they sneeze, but I get embarrassed because of how powerfully I sneeze. When I sneeze, I feel a pain in my chest, while there is a pain in my throat after. Am I sneezing correctly or what? Also, it is incredibly loud. Like, my neighbors complained once...

    ACHOO!!!

There was a time once that I sneezed so loudly and powerful, I passed out for a few seconds. When I came to myself I was lying on the carpet with my cat checking on me xD

Letting your sneeze blast out is best. Holding back a sneeze creates a lot of back pressure. If you're concerned about being loud, then sneeze into your shirt (via the shirt's collar) or into your elbow as recommended in these plague filled times.

I used to have this same problem, but then I figured out it was because I was sneezing through my mouth and not my nose. When I started sneezing through my nose again, it decreased in strength. Maybe you're in a similar situation.

Frankly, I think shotgunning snot out of my nose would be more painful than blasting spit out of my mouth.
