Question for Mobile Users

My personal opinion is that it's fine as it is. Yes, the group column can get a little clunky, but hiding the group column would make it difficult to manipulate your reading list. I obviously don't know exactly how the site works, but if removing the group column means that I have to visit the novel page, the group page, or my reading list itself to mark a new chapter as read, please leave it as it is.

 

Honestly, It doesn't really matter to me, but moving the check box over would prob be better for people with smaller screens since moving it over all the time will be slightly annoying. But other then that I think its fine.

 

Just do what you think is best. No one stop yah from doing so

 

We kinda need the group column, mainly because there are times when two groups work on the same novel and they're translating at different chapters.

 

I think it's fine as it is. Or, you can give both mobile and desktop users the option to hide the group column.

Maybe you can make it so that after a few letters it doesn't show the rest of the name, cause for titles with 12 words and stuff, it looks really clunky.

So like "The Demonic King Chases His Wife: The Rebellious Good-for-Nothing Miss" would be shown as "The Demoic King Chases...".

Another option could be to make it that the titles shown are the shortest commonly used ones, like "Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru" is usually just written as "Oregairu". Or how "Hai to Gensou no Grimgar" can be "Grimgal/Grimgar" since no other title has grimgal in it.

And for the sidebar for mobile, I find it tedious that if I want to get to it I need to scroll to the bottom of the page since it's not at the side. Would it be possible to make it like a menu that has a fixed position on the window, like this?

And if it can be done to the side bar on the desktop browser site as well, so that the search box and the rest of the links are always there, it would be nice too!

I think that if a go to bottom option had to be added, it would have to have a fixed position as well for it to be useful. So at that point, it might as well be coded so that the menu is fixed instead.

But then, since you can't see the title, wouldn't that make the release page pointless?

 

No, don't please, although it is a bit awkward, but it's fine the way it is now. Because sometimes, there are more than one group working on the same title, not in collaborative term but separately or even in some kind of dispute.
Though, if you want to change it, then that is fine too.

 

We need the group coloumn for those series where there are multiple groups translating it.
I think it'd be better for it to be smaller though.
In addition to that I'd appreciate it if the check box can be seen without scrolling to the right because currently it's hidden.
The design for desktop looks fine though

 

Maybe make it so that the check box column has a fixed position in the table, so if you scroll left or right, the column stays at the rightmost edge of the table?
