You know. Before this story I was getting fed up with Chinese MLs. Then I see a cbunch couple who are so dedicated to one another in lifetime after lifetime even moves a cynic like me.

Also, I love the fact that once revenge over a worthless NTR situation gets kicked to the side and saving the world is more important.

Spoiler: Arc 14 basic summary

• Ancient general world
• MC's host is Fu Yunyi, the inheritor of a prestigious military clan. She was born a woman, but raised as a man due to her grandfather wanting to continue the lineage. No one except her grandfather knows she is a woman, and thinks of her as a famous general. She was given a marriage to the princess, Jiang Shuhe, but due to the princess having a sweetheart already, she sent assassins to kill FY. The original FY died having regret that she was forced to live as a man.
• The MC transmigrates into the night where she was assassinated, but was able to stop the assassins. While this is happening, JS is in her palace, anxiously awaiting the news of the successful assassination. She blamed MC for being an obstacle for marrying her favorite cousin. Unfortunately, she hears the MC survived. She calms herself down that the assassins were professional, and that they won't leave any evidence that would point to herself.
• The emperor was furious, and ordered a thorough investigation, and gave many treasures to MC as compensation. Unfortunately, the princess wasn't caught this time. At the palace, the MC also meets Jiang Yan, the youngest son of the Empress Dowager who she identifies as her lover. After meeting, the ML thought he only heard of the MC's reputation, and didn't expect MC to look like this. He thought the MC would be tall and burly, and didn't think he would be thin and exquisite.
• After meeting with the emperor, MC went to her grandfather. The grandfather secretly regrets his decision of raising MC as a boy, and due to his guilt he alienates himself from MC. MC's host thought that the grandfather was disappointed in her, so that's why he didn't want to see her. MC and grandfather share a few words, and MC leaves. Grandfather asks his servant that the MC must hate him, but he assures him that it isn't the case
• JS went to MC in order to goad her to getting angry and canceling the marriage. JS told MC that she has a favorite person, and if MC has any self-knowledge, she would go to the emperor to lift the marriage. The MC replied that this matter was decreed by the emperor, and she doesn't dare question his decision. MC than states that if she is really unwilling to marry her, go ask the emperor herself. JS was hoping that in this exchange, MC would get angry for JS tearing her face and go to the emperor and demand to lift the marriage, and that her own reputation wouldn't be spoiled. She thought no man could stand a slap in the face like this, but thankfully, our MC is not a man but a woman. FS tries again to goad the MC, but the MC skillfully refutes her words
• MC was wandering the streets randomly when she heard someone, Huo Jiabao, accusing someone else of staining their clothes. MC thought that HJ was familiar, and that the other person's carriage signified that he wasn't someone low. MC remembers that she had met HJ previously. HJ previously saw the plain clothes of MC, and wanted to show off his strength to others. So the MC beat him and his gang up, and stripped them, sending their clothes back through mail. MC sees him trying to show off again and steps in. HJ asks what the MC is doing here, and MC says why can't she walk in her own city. HJ gets scared and runs away. When she sees who HJ was trying to harass, she finds out it was the ML
• ML notices that he pays attention to MC's mood, something he hasn't done for anyone except his brother and mother before. ML asks MC to go out to drink with him. As they are getting acquainted, MC asks the system why she wasn't able to pick any skills from previous worlds in her recent missions. She asks this because the body of ML wasn't that good.The system explains that their are different tiers of worlds, high energy and low energy worlds. She won't be able to use high energy world skills in low energy worlds. She can only do things that the people in the world are capable of doing, and nothing beyond that.If she were to use something outside the scope of that world, it may collapse. The MC asks if there are any medicine in this world that could help the ML, and the system gives her some.
• MC and ML drink. ML was surprised at how well they were getting along. While the MC was drunk, she vented to the ML, saying things like she doesn't want to marry the princess. ML asks why, and MC tells him. ML thinks that due to what the princess did, no man would willingly marry her after such an insult, but the MC has to endure due to it being from the emperor. ML decides that he his going to have a world with the emperor. While ML was trying to move MC into the bed due to her passing out, he find out the MC feels slender, and when he tries to take off MC's robe, MC glares viciously at him. ML misunderstands this as vigilance due to the many battle MC has gone through, and feels sorry for her.
• The next morning, ML tires to wake up the MC, but the MC, still half asleep, kisses the ML. After this, MC wakes up, and tries to find an excuse. The MC finally decides that she thought that the ML was the snow wolf she was raising. MC embarrassed, leaves the room quickly. ML is a bit red due to the kiss
• After MC went back home, she had a brief confrontation with her grandfather, and the grandfather after this regrets his decision more and more. At the palace, ML talks to the emperor. After that, he sees JS and her cousin happily meeting with each other. Seeing this scene, ML thinks no wonder JS would say all those things to MC, and decides to go to the MC. He asks if the MC was willing to marry the princess, and the MC says it is due to the emperor. ML realizes that if he were to convince the emperor to lift the marriage, MC would be happy.
• A rumor then spreads that JS and her cousin are having an affair. Due to the nature of this rumor and it being seemingly true, it becomes a serious matter. JS is surprised at how they got such secretive info, and its due to the system. The emperor dealt with this by stopping the rumors and compensating MC with treasure.
• Later, after two months, the emperor decides the date of the marriage, which was sooner than MC expected. ML says he's sorry that he couldn't help the MC much. MC has a plan to stop the marriage, set up another assassination and link the evidence to the previous one. As soon as she finished formulating this plan, the system notifies the MC that JS is planning to elope. MC and ML manage to stop them. They report this to the emperor and he is angry. The emperor lifts the marriage and wants to compensate the MC with another one, but she refuses to marry. He also punishes JS. ML tells that JS should have been happy she was engaged to MC, saying MC is the dream of many ladies. MC somewhat sadly says yes, the dreams of many ladies. ML notices something amiss about how MC said this.
• MC also implements her assassins plan. Due to this, the emperor finds out JS was behind the assassination, and confronts her.
• MC and her grandfather have another confrontation, and due to MC spilling the truth about the assassinations and her resentment in her hart, they end up saying the things in their hearts they never could say and reconcile
• After this, MC takes ML out to drink, and drunkenly tells him that she is a woman. ML thinks to himself that due to the flaws of MC, like white skin, slender, why didn't he piece this earlier. MC thinks that ML doesn't believe it, and wants to undress to show him. ML says he does believe it, and that woman shouldn't carelessly undress before men. MC says that she knows that a woman should only undress for the person she likes, but fortunately, ML is the person she likes.
• After hearing this, it was like a dam broke in the ML's mind and he started kissing and undressing MC. As he took off the clothes of MC, he saw all the scars she received and felt a burst of pain in his heart. ML tenderly kissed each scar, feeling sorry for her. The next morning, they exchanged sweet words
• Later, MC went to battle and came back. When she came back, and got a lot of marriage proposals. ML jokingly says that the MC is very popular.
• MC was a successful general who never married. Later on, MC disappeared with ML to travel the lands together as a couple. One day, MC's grandfather got a baby dropped off at his door, with the name that translates to hope and living free without shackles.

 

Hmmmm... i think it was the host’s father and not grandfather, and the reason he had mc dressed up as a man was at the beginning due to his selfishness, he didn’t want to remarry after the death of host’s mother so he dressed up mc as a boy, as back then having no one to continue the family name is enough reason to force someone to marry again, which he later regretted...

 

It might of been the father. In MTL, it says grandfather, but i noticed that grandfather could either refer to grandfather, or the head male of the house. I assumed it meant grandfather in this case but i could be mistaken.

• Futuristic space world
• MC is the general of a spaceship,the Star Alliance's only female admiral, Stuart/Situ Tong (not sure mtl uses both interchanginly)
• Humanity has entered a age of super technology, and earth can't hold everyone so they start to colonize other planets. Humans can also become more powerful due to gene modification and can live up to 500 years. There are two major sides, the Star alliance and the interstellar federation
• ST when she was 18 was admitted to the Imperial Military Academy with her own strength. After five years, she graduated with the SSS test score and went directly to the three major trump cards of the Empire. One of the Corps's Cruel Lion Corps. After 20 years, she got a medal of honor. and became the leader of the Cruel Lion Corps
  
• Lin Fu is her assistant and most trusted confidant, and also the reason MC died. Due to ST dying, both sides waged a bloody war. MC knows that it wasn't a coincidence that Lin Fu became ST's trusted aide, it was planned. Lin Fu's real name Qi Lin. Her father was a solider, and died. QL's father died even after surrendering, when MC ordered a death order saying that no one should be left alive. The reason being that QL's father wasn't a normal solider, but a member of a secretive organization of the federal government that specialized in human experiments and used cruel methods. This is a serious violation of the intergalactic convention jointly promulgated by various forces in the galaxy and ST was ordered to destroy it.
  
• MC is on the way to a neutral area of the galaxy, the Storm Chamber of Commerce
• MC directly calls in QL and blatantly tells her that she knows that QL hates her and wants revenge. She tells the truth to QL and arrests her. The reason MC uses this method is because the difference between them is too great, the only power QL wielding is due to MC's trust, and without that, she can't do anything. MC wants to see the outcome of the military court because she knows that QL is just a pawn.
• They arrive at the planet of the Storm Chamber of Commerce. As soon as MC exited the ship, someone tried to assassinate her, but she repelled it easily. She used a knife to block bullets. Everyone is surprised by this. Among the crowd that admired her is a red haired man that says he likes the MC, and thinks to himself how should he meet with MC
• Later, the MC took a stroll through the city, and in her civilian outfit no one recognized her. She also revived three "invitations" from wealthy rich men. This place is a bit more open with male-female relationship, and the guide thought that MC would be offended due other places not sharing the view of this planet. But the MC thought of this as "interesting" because if she didn't these "invitations" couldn't reach her at all. Of course she doesn't respond to any of these. MC kept refusing these invitations, until a man with red hair appeared. When he appeared, her body tensed up due to his power being no less then her own, but relaxed thanks to a familiar atmosphere. ML asked MC out to dinner, and she agreed. MC asks who is he and why he approached her. ML introduces himself as "Enoch" and currently single to the first question and to the second question he replied i fell in love with you at first sight and want to pursue you. ML than slashes at MC with a knife and MC dodges/ML pulls back.(not entirely sure). This leaves a light wound. MC asks does he know what happened to the last person that offended her. ML says that he doesn't know, and a person he wants he never misses. MC laughs and whispers to ML that since he made such a move, the MC can have his life ML also starts laughing. (this is a weird way to flirt)
• They get into a car and drive off. ML feels like he and MC belong to each other, and no other person has made him feel this way. ML took MC to a building and told the MC to wear a mask. When MC wears it, she realizes that it is state of the art anti reconnaissance mask. This is a club where powerful individuals come to hang out. When someone asks who the ML brought, he says his girlfriend, and MC replies that her name is Gu Sheng. ML is surprised because he knows MC isn't acquainted with anyone with the surname Gu, but he feels something familiar about that name. Someone else exclaims that they didn't know ML had a girlfriend, and ML says they met today.
• A woman, firefox, appears and talks to them. Someone mentions ML brought his girlfriend, and she looks at MC. She asks the ML if MC is really his girlfriend and ML says yes so she should stop trying to hook up with him. Firefox says that she doesn't believe it, and its impossible. ML said he wasn't interested in love. She assumes that ML brought MC just to pretend so that she'll stop pursing him. ML says "they were never familiar. She so easily misunderstood my girlfriend." He continued: "You are not important enough to let me specifically find someone Don't think too much about it.I have a girlfriend that's a fact, I like her very much.In order to avoid suspicion, stay away from me later, otherwise, if my girlfriend won't be happy"
• Firefox challenges MC to a fight, and says if MC loses she should break up with ML. ML gets angry. MC also says why should she bet her man with other women. She also says that even if ML was a trash, he was her trash and no one takes anything from her. ML finds MC appealing, and firefox is surprised to find someone more arrogant than her. MC says she can take her challenge, but first let MC duel ML, and after the fight decide whether or not to fight her. Other people says that even though ML is strong, that doesn't mean that MC is strong, and that they'll take the burden of fighting MC. This ends with several people on the ground. People are surprised at how strong MC is. MC asks again whether or not firefox wants to challenge her, and fire fox declines.
• ML tells MC about this place, it is extremely secretive. Only those who have reached rank A or above are eligible to know and enter. People who come here are not allowed to reveal their identities, whether they are their own identity or the identity of others. This can be used to solve a variety of personal grudges, whether life or death.
  
• Later on, the MC ask the system to verify the guess she has on ML's identity in this world, and the system says she guessed right. MC than tells ML that she's surprised to meet the Red Devil, the first star pirate. MC reveals her identity, and ML's brother is surprised that the first stars pirates girlfriend is actually the admiral of the empire.
• Before leaving, MC spent an entire day with the ML. ML thinks that he not only likes MC, but loves her, and even though they've only known each other for a week, its been like they've known each other for centuries. MC says that they spent countless past lives together, and ML agrees. When MC left, she got a report that says her crew caught a criminal who wants to board the ship, and laughs because its the ML.
• MC gets a call from the first prince saying that there's going to be an ambush. MC is a supporter of this prince, and her safety is vital to his position. Also, the prince likes MC, but MC is unwilling. The prince tells MC to get out of there, but MC says its too late and orders shields up. The prince asks what happened, MC says "nothing big". Later on, the prince heard the "nothing big" ambush were 13 first class battleships and spit out his tea in surprise. Even though MC's ship is first class, it isn't a battleship but rather a command ship and due to the enemies power, which includes powerful weapons recently developed that the military still isn't using they can't hold on until reinforcements arrive. MC has a plan, and asks if ML is willing to go on a dangerous tasks with her. The crew are shocked by MC's plan and try to dissuade her. MC, ML, and eight others take different mini fighters and escape the ship. These small ships go near the speed of light, and most normal people can't withstand it. This leaves the enemy guessing whether MC stayed on the ship, or were one of those people escaping. MC was betting on them choosing wrongly, and she succeeded.
• Everyone is looking for MC, even the prince. The second prince, orders everyone to find MC, and he also rescued QL from court, thus confirming MC's suspicion. He is also the one that ordered the ambush of MC.
• MC was floating in space for a while, and asks the system how long it would take to reach the empire. The system responds 2 weeks. A rumor spread that the MC has died. MC arrives just before her successor for the leader of the lion corps was decided. She was a bit upset that after all the years she was in the military, it only took her missing for a month to be presumed dead.
• After the MC got home, she got a secret visitor, the ML. ML tightly hugs the MC. ML was very worried about her and the hug lasted a while. When ML thought that if the MC died, he wanted to destroy the entire world.
• MC went to the emperor and gave all the evidence she has collected, which includes stuff on the second prince. This lead to a massive clean up and the second prince losing his right to the throne.
• MC went to QL in prison. This wasn't a military prison but the imperial prison. QL begged MC to save her. MC says that she can't save her, and QL asks MC for death at least due to the nature of this place, wanting to die but can't. MC says that if QL can answer her question, she'll ask the emperor to give her an easy death. MC asks why would QL join the other side. QL says that it was because of her mother, saying that when her father was alive they fought and when he died, she didn't care about her due to her and her father being from the federation. She was abused, and she wanted everyone from the empire to die, because her mom was from the empire. MC talked to the emperor and QL died the next day. MC brought the ML to her family.
• MC and ML went on a honeymoon. When looking at the MC, ML suddenly something came from his mind. Strange fragments came out. MC asked whats wrong. MC said "Shengyin" MC asked who are you. ML started calling all of the different names of the MC from previous lives. MC had tears in her eyes, and ML says "don't cry, i've always been with you" MC asks who is he, but ML says it isn't the time yet. The ML was about to say something, but MC suddenly found herself in the white space again. She asks the system what happened. The system says the MC was discovered by the laws of the world and was forcibly evicted. MC asked why this didn't happen before, and the system said that it was because the ML regained his memories. The world cannot handle two strong souls that retain their memories, so MC was evicted. MC says can they ever have both memories intact, and the system responds yes, she needs to get stronger. Strong enough to resist the laws of the world. The MC asks how she can get stronger, and the system replies by completing missions.

Alot more. We are only about 1/6 done. There are a bit more than 2200 chapters and i only did about 440.

There is one arc where MC’s memory is sealed and ML has memories of them. After the final mission, there are two arcs where both of them have their memories

 

Awww.... Doesn't that mean she dies? So how does ML take it?

 

From what i’ve read, it only said that the people thought MC and ML died on their honeymoon so i assume ML left after MC got ejected because he has no other reason to stick around

 

the system said that there is some space hurricane (?) and the two lover (still in their honeymoon) get caught in it. So basically they died.
