He asked MC to help find his partner. His partner died while investigating a crime syndicate, but his ghost is near them. The ghost doesn't realize MC can see him, and he complains that the police officer is dumb for believing in superstition, and that looking for his body isn't important, but rather for the clues he left behind. MC eventually gives the ability to communicate with ghost to the police officer, and both he and his partner are surprised to see each other, and that supernatural abilities are real. The partner tells the police officer everything he learned, and that he'll try to get more info as a ghost. After returning home, MC realizes that both he and the Sister don't know how to do housework, and the sister comes up with the idea to hire ghosts. MC sent out a notice, but since it was a job at the house of the big devil, only three ghosts showed up. As payment, they would get incense burned for them and they'd be allowed to use a paper body. After the first day, the ghosts decide to try to make money themselves due to MC and the sister having little money, and decide to start live stream a cooking show. MC says that its there for protection against ghosts, and goes in person. He uses invisibility charms, divine sight, mind reading, and other high skills to get evidence. When the partner is seeing this, he's like F*** is this what being carried by a big boss is like. They also discover one of the people from FP's family helping the crime syndicate. MC took a taxi on the way back. The taxi turned out to be haunted by a ghost that detaches his head, but MC just slaps the head back on and threatens the driver to drive normally. The ghost is distraught that the passenger he managed to get is the big devil. With this evidence, the police take the syndicate down, and MC even returns the body of the partner, which was thought to be lost at sea so he can have a proper burial. The sister goes on a field trip with her class. One of the girls MC saved in the beginning becomes friends with the sister due to MC saving her. The sister is also getting more popular. On the field trip, FP and a bunch of other people see a haunted house and go investigate. They find real ghosts, and FP again abandons everyone and runs away. The sister came and managed to buy enough time so MC could arrive. When MC sent the ghosts to the afterlife, and most likely hell, they were glad because hell would be better than dealing with MC. When the students got back, they all started to scold FP that she abandoned them. FP tried to defend herself that she went to get help, but when pressed about how she didn't look like she was calling for help she said that since she saw the sister go, she assumed everything will work out fine. This causes her popularity and image to fall in everyone's eyes, and also the sisters to rise for saving everyone. One of the classmates asks MC for help with a family problem. Her cousin fell into a coma. When MC arrived, he said that this was to find love, and that the cousin's soul had traveled to the cat of an actor he once scolded. Both are actors. FP has a system that makes her become the best actor and slap all the male gods in the circle, and it can charm men. host was one of the men charmed, and worked to bring down sister. MC goes to a variety show with Sister that focuses on family so they can know each other better. FP frames the sister of pedaling two boats at the same time, while in fact she was the one to seduce the sisters boyfriends. The boyfriends also slander the sister in order to help FP. At first, the Sister didn't believe the system, but after learning that the FP's true identity and that her family died decided to become emperor herself because since MP wanted the throne so bad, it would be devastating to see her get it MC issued tasks through the system helping her gain followers and power by knowing the plot in advance. He went down also as soon as he heard the Sister was in trouble. At this point, they were husband and wife in so many lifetimes that MC reluctantly had given his approval. But now he had MC approval, he needed to go to the next level and gain the Father's approval. The reason Sister was trapped in reincarnation was because of a Lotus. When the Sister was born, the Father had a huge banquet, and ended up discovering a damaged white lotus with no possibility of transforming. Since it was his daughters birth, and he saw it as good luck for her, he helped it transform, and it grew up with the Sister as a friend The Lotus grew bitter because the Sister had everything, and everyone loved her. She was jealous, and wanted to take everything from the Sister. She was the FP in all the worlds. The Sister viewed her as close as sister, and would divide everything with her, but the Lotus was greedy and wanted everything. She ended up being banished from the immortal realm
Just wanted to add that the sister is different in each world. He saves a different martial/apprentice sister in each world. They have different weaknesses. @araarq : Thanks for the correction! I was wondering why it seemed kind of off from my memory. These two novels seems so similar. Only a few minor details have been changed in the first few worlds setting. I think this one is more well-written though.
@Fuyuneko no problem, it happens to me too. It’s gotten to the point where if i want to read an arc from a qt novel, i have to do a quick scan of all the ones i’ve read to find it
Is anyone going to translate this novel? Really want to read it, but I don’t think I can learn reading Chinese with my low linguistic talent.
