    One was a crossover with My Fair Princess, a Chinese drama that was very popular years ago. There the MC is paired with the emperor and it's very strange since the emperor was very old in the show. Even if Danmei says that he is younger I always imagine him... old. I consider myself an open minded person but that a bit hard to accept because the MC at beginning was only 12... (My mind screamed pedophile).

    Ps. There was another cross with Pride and Prejudice but with the Pair MC/Mr. Darcy. But that was a here and the MC was like a Mary Sue (Lol, it's funny since her name is Mary...)

    Once I remember how the ML supposedly looks like, [​IMG] my interest in reading the novel really got cut by half. Thankfully, the plot is interesting enough to make up for it. XD

    Unfortunately I didn't make to the end.
    Other than ML's look. That drama was my childhood favourite, and little swallow (the unruly MC) was like my idol (though not much anymore, but I have some fond memory). Seeing her and Ziwei treated like that, plus not together with their MLs made my interest sank almost immediately.

    I also like that drama. Can you tell me the general plot of the novel? What's the different with the original? The emperor is ziwei father. If in the novel he was younger isn't that mean ziwei not yet born? When I read your first post, I think the timeline was when the emperor met with ziwei mother. So mean no erkang and wu ake then :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    Nope, everyone is there. This novel is about MC, who's the illegitimate son of some deposed(?) general. He doesn't have anyone to rely on so he told himself to be useful to the Emperor. Before being transmigrated here, MC is a well known businessman who died of heart attack (he has a weak body). The host body (who probably did not exist in the drama) he transmigrated to is the study partner of the 12th prince (Empress's son)

    It follows the canon timeline, only Danmei made the emperor younger and it's strange...er, disturbing thinking that he maybe did 'that' when he was still a underage

    Yeah, personally this one is my fav xDD bc it's super funny since MC had 2 personalities, brain dead MC who worship God of Light and the logical MC :blobmelt:
