Thats why I read Genjitsugisha, he asks consent from first wife even when he is already the king and the norm in that world is that polygamy a natural thing.
Cultivation novel is different thing though, we know that there is 'Dao Partner' things, MC with uncontrollabe lust can reach the apex just because he is the MC? Disgustang

 

It's because author is not good in writing romance, see Stellar Transformation, Desolate Era or any IET novels for reference. XD
IET is like Er Gen when it comes to romantic development in novels

 

I feel you, can you recommend me some good harem?

 

Well, my goal is to make you accept that the MC is not a random CN MC craving for lots of women and is mostly faithful to FL, accepting other girls for reasons just like said @Superioreos and my other goal is to make you read it. Try to think of it as a favor, try to read it, sure it's not perfect but it's really good. Ex: huge number of chaps without romance and after FL goes back to her home you begin to crave to see her again with MC. But yeah somehow lacking but when there is romance it's really fluffy with them together. Also sometimes some good comedy + let's not forget that now MC is back in time, FL is a loli.

Right now, i am stopping reading Cold Ceo, my drive/passion of reading it burned out. A bad habit.

 

Your harem rant is pretty accurate. I agree with all of it. Even though I'm a huge of fan of harems, a lot of the times they feel pointless, make no sense, or just there to move the plot along lol. Also harems seems to be more popular so ehh.

 

I'm not against harem honestly, I just feel the first heroine is wronged and stripped of her 'moments' with MC just because the Author can't make their relationship interesting and decided to use harem to make the plot progress. Why tf author need to introduce every most beautiful moment in a new continent or realm? aren't your first wife enough already? MC didn't deserve the apex of cultivation if he didn't have the moral to do it.

 

I can feel it is different from what I disgusted with, but I still can't stomach the whole harem thing. Maybe if the synopsis isn't like that this won't be a problem to me for reading TTNH. Thanks for the insight for this novel, I really appreciated it.

 

Magika no Kenshi to Shoukan Maou is a fantastic harem series. Shinmai Maou no Testament is good. Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa has a hilarious harem (especially the end.) Silver Cross and Draculea has a good harem along with an MC who doesn't mind killing those who try to kill him. Campione! Is a great harem. Madan na Ou to Vanadis is also a really great harem and story. Tsuki Tsuki is also a hilarious harem (the manga is funnier than the ln.)

 

And this is why I love Martial Arts Master. The relationship in the romance is amazing. I don't like it either when we lose the "moments" of the first heroine. Why make me fall for her just so she isn't even relevant to the story anymore for the rest of the story.

 

Well probably their preference?
I don't complain as long as it's written nicely like Dungeon defence or high school dxd.
But forgetting the first just to advancr the story is annoying I agree.
