What the hell is with the guys AND girls in most novels?? I don't mind an alpha male but damn some take it too far!! And the female character is so cliche!! wtf!! WHAT IS WITH THE RECYCLED CHARACTERS THAT KEEP ON EMERGING! I'M READING THE SAME NOVELS JUST IN A DIFFERENT SETTING AND NAME! Why can't they make decent and personalised characters?? I don't mind being inspired by another novel but practically copying it while adding a pinch of personality is unacceptable!! Do you know what else i hate?? US. THE CONSUMERS! we mostly take whatever shit is thrown at us by saying this is how things are now. we switch off our common sense and brains and just read the story! whyyyyyy?? I'm so sorry but how will that improve the authors of our community?! they need criticism!! the need feedback! I don't care anymore i hate light novels! Men in them are trashy! and girls are mostly arrogant and trashy! (I still love reading novels tho damn it TuT) I feel braindead and bored when i read novels nowadays smh.
Maybe you aren't being true to your own feelings? Haha. A lot of people read these sorts of novels because of the DREAM, after all. Who doesn't want to be powerful, wealthy, and arrogant? Or at least have that possibility. And women are just the same.

Just pick better novels or pick a different genre. Search by genre and tags and see if you like the summary and try it out. You may see old but good novels that way.
I pretty much read everything that i like and is good. I constantly read the new ones in hopes of finding a tolerable and maybe good story but i haven't seen many. if you have any suggestions, i would appreciate the help. And i don't think anyone is getting what i meant. sigh.

You need to widen your search. Maybe try something else for a change. Like way out of the ball park, the complete opposite of what you are looking for. Try something without romance if you are sick of cliché harem members and alpha males.

Isekai ni Kita Boku wa Kiyoubinbode Subaya-sa Tayorina Tabi o Suru is a slice of life with gradual romance. It's quite good, I don't have any other suggestions. I left the chinese novels alone because I can practically see what happens the next chapter...
