Recommendations Real harem/polygamy novel in modern school setting.

Hi all!

There are hundreds (thousands?) manga and novels with harem in school setting. But in most cases it's not a real harem, but some love triangles where MC chooses only one girl.

I am looking for novels, where schoolboy officially has many girlfriends and they have agreed to it.

Any good examples?

P.S.: I would prefer modern time setting with some fantasy elements possible and good non-despicable (not harem seeking pervert, not rapist and so on) protagonist

When you mean school setting, are you speaking about just school related stuff? or there are other elements mixed there?(magic,supernatural entities and others)

Well in that case there are a few. For example: Highschool DxD, Highschool DxD shin, Masou gakuen HxH, Magika no kenshin, Maou gakuen no hangyakusha, Seiken tsukai.(You can find magika, maou gakuen and masou gakuen in bakapervert; seiken tsukai in taekan wordpress.) Magika, Hischool DxD and masou gakuen have harem ending(magika, higschool dxd are completed), maou gakuen and seiken tsukai will end in harem too, you will need to wait though. Highschool DxD shin it's the continuation of Highschool DxD but translations stopped at the third volume.

 

what do you mean with common harem novel without real harem?

 

When guy is surrounded by many girls, but in fact is only choosing one of them.

Thank you for such detailed explanation! I have a question about Higschool dxd especially: what part of the story is about established harem? I mean, half of the story, most of it or only few last chapters?
I am asking because for me is more interesting to read how harem members interact with each other, how public is affected by existence of this harem, how they are doing some everyday stuff and so on. So if harem is only a small part of the story, it's a bit not what I am looking for.
