I've been looking for short angsty novels. It could be BG (boyxgirl) or BL. Been reading too much fluff. Now I need something to break my heart.
Aobara-hime no Yarinaoshi Kakumeiki -MC is traumatized of the male lead becuz he killed her on her previous life.

Mulberry Song is probably one of the better short angsty novels out there. It's beautiful, tragic, and beautifully tragic. Although Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang isn't pure angst, there's a tearjerker scene in there that satisfies my angsty needs.
I read that before consecutively, and I looked like a mess after it. With my tears and snot running all over my face Im currently camping there, that novel made my heart broken several times already.
I checked it, the translated chapter are few. Gonna wait for the translation to finished. I tried reading it but I havent finished yet. The premise of the story looks interesting I never tried reading original novel. But I'll be sure to check it out

I highly, highly recommend trying all the Tong Hua novels like Ballad of the Desert (probably this one first), Song in the Clouds, Lost You Forever, Bu Bu Jing Xin. They're very well-written and heartbreaking. Some others w/ drama and angst: Heavy Sweetness Ash-Like Frost Falling Dreams of Fang Hua The Legend of Chu Qiao: Division 11’s Princess Agent
I've read Gaze at the Scenes of Debauchery and Xia Niangniang. These two really made me cry. The ending made my heart broken to the point that after reading it. I can only stare at a distance thinking about those torturous scenes. Oohh, I tried reading TSSSG. First arc really made me cry. Been waiting for it to finished translating. Also MWATIDNLH (the title is too long) there were some angsty parts but I can still hold my tears back. The ending is so heartwarming.
I searched these novels, and unfortunately I cannot find 10 years I've loved you. But Desposed Empress General looks interesting. Just by reading the summaries I can tell that I will cry buckets of tears. I've searched Tong hua's novels and all of it seems interesting. Falling Dreams of Fang Hua and The legend of chu qiao, I saw them before.
A Step into the Past -A tragedy novel it's quite old though. MC goes back in time however everything is predetermined.
