Recommendations Recommend me battle anime

Baka to Test has better battles than half the Shounen crap out there would be my point. There’s a crapload of trash battle anime out there.

How did Frenda die again? I probably forgot, because she was part of the side character protagonist's circle of harem/friends (the other team, not the reality warping guy), since it's been months I last read Toaru NT, and last volume I stopped at was the England invasion arc.

The only death there I really remember didn't actually happen, since:

Najimi Ajimu wasn't killed by Kumagawa. He was only strong enough to barely seal her away.
Also, it gets revealed later on that Kei Munakata hasn't killed anyone despite whatever he says.

If background characters and nameless enemies dying doesn't count, then Kazemakase: Tsukikage Ran is another one. It's more of a slow-paced slice-of-life than an action anime, though.
The story follows the two main characters, Meow and Ran. Ran goes wherever she feels like.

And I know that you specified anime, but there are some really good western cartoons that involve battles without people dying.

My favourite one is Storm Hawks. It's set in a place with cities in the sky, which are protected by Sky Knights like the main character. They ride flying bikes, do hand-to-hand aerial combat, long-range combat, and also ship-to-ship combat. Since it's a cartoon for kids, no one really dies despite people being blown out of the sky all the time.
