Legend of heroes : trails in sky / cold steel Chrono trigger Action oriented, filled with lore, but almost no story : Monster hunter
Arcanum of steamworks and magica or some such, is on steam, great old rpg. Divinity original sin 2, knights of the old republic 1&2 not to be confused with the old republic the mmo.

skyrim is not an rpg, its a sandbox stuff but far from rpg specially crpg like titles crpg: Torment: Tides of Numenera Lords of Xulima Planesape Torment Baldurs Gate 1-2 Neverwinter games Knights of the old republic the first Witcher is also crpg like, the laters are awesome but more action like Fallout 1-2, tactics (3-4 is trash but new vegas is fine) wasteland 1-2 south park stick of truth/fractured but whole shadowrun dragonfall, honkong, boston, returns hns rpg: diablo path of exile torchlight van helsing fp/tp more action like rpg mass effect trilogy witcher 2-3 morrowind gothic 1-3 risen 1-3 vampire bloodlines vampire redemption pure action rpgs: darks souls trilogy nioh lord of the fallen if you need jrpg i can list some of that too neptunia series fairy fencer last remnant ys series final fantasy series xenoblade series
How similar are we talking here? If you want crpgs in the style of Tyranny or Pillars of Eternity, that's a really short list. You might have to wind the clock back a bit and play something like Baldur's Gate. Games like that aren't common anymore. Pillars of Eternity II is coming up soon, but not soon enough to bother recommending now. .. Maybe the Shadowrun games? If you're cool with just any style of tactical RPG, well, someone recommended Dragon Age: Origins, and that's pretty damn close to what you want. .. If you can get over the graphics, Spiderweb Software makes some amazing games, too. If action rpg is OK, the Tales series is always fantastic. I would love to play CRPGs, I've been getting interested to it thanks to Tyranny which would be my first CRPG last year and been looking for another games like those wherein choices matter and such. I am fine with any graphics. Thanks! EDIT: Gonna try out Baldur's Gate.

Baldurs gate is overrated, most people just love it for nostalgia. planescape torment, fallout 1&2 and arcanum is where crpg games got it right imo

Suikoden II. You can play Suikoden I and import your character into Suikoden II but it's just as good going in blind. Ogre Battle It's more of a RTS with RPG elements to it, but still very good.
