It's not the exact same. Different authors, but so far it follows the plotline of the volare one pretty closely. It's similar to how the CEO novel on QI is a ripoff of the volare CEO novel (or vice versa).
Somehow the novel felt Like too rushed. I mean the pace was to fast the beaten part too. Yz was become a punching bag. Hha I know he facing tribulation, but this is too much. Yz will became a M. At least he need some breathing
Story has become difficult to follow, and characters' logic, motivation and actions are a complete mess.
I was really disappointed with what was going on in this novel around chapter 400+. Everything seemed really out of place and even the novel's internal logic had completely contradicted itself. I know the tribulation is supposed to be a huge transition in the novel, but it was poorly executed and felt like a slap in the face to the fans. They came to love a novel for 300 some odd chapter for what it was and you pull a complete 180.
Yeah, I'm disappointed and already stop reading when he is gonna choose his harem over the world. Bet, after that someone gonna save his ass again.
why can't things happen without everybody and their grandmother jumping in on the fun. it's like the entire universe is runnin an old version of Sims 4, before they toned down the flash mobs.
the tribulation should have ended....going by the characters who know the yellow emperor, they labelled each accident as a tribulation and he's passed more than 9. not to mention that the mortal world is currently frozen... anyway the story/plot is wacked now and it seems like the system is the future 'him'? which is why everything is fxxked.

i dunno man i enjoy his interactions with the gods but yea....it's kinda trash now since the gods are just people who are worshipped...theres really no difference between them and cultivators.......it's disappointing..not to mention that the gods like sun wukong almost got killed.......and it seems like even they are weak as there are higher realms (Lol?)
Since I'm running out of the things I like to read, I'll probably give it a try. But I read that many people dropped it.
In regards to deities being people who are worshipped, that's always been the case with Chinese mythology. Also, Sun Wukong isn't even a particularly strong deity. Heck, he isn't even worshipped, his only story is the classical Journey to the West.
this post just made it clear that you know absolutely nothing. sun wukong is one of the most, if not the most powerful deity there is in chinese mythology. he is also worshipped. as for the rest, i cant be bothered to enlighten you and teach you more
I'm sorry but you're completely wrong. Sun Wukong has only ever been mentioned in text linking to Journey to the West. And even there, he is far from the most powerful deity. Pretty much all of the Buddhas are more powerful than him, it is the same with many of the Daoist deities. As for worshipped? Are you kidding me? If you're not joking, then you must be thinking the various 齐天大圣庙 (Great Sage Equaling Heaven Temple), but those aren't temples dedicated to the Monkey King. It's a temple dedicated to 申阳公 (Shenyanggong), a lesser known Chinese deity who holds the title of Great Sage Equaling Heaven. Please don't confuse novels like Journey to the West and Investiture of the Gods with actual beings worshipped in China.
