It's apparently the drug that were used in both China and South Korea for patients of covid 19 on it's early stages. I'm not encouraging hoarding but you need to check their availability just in case.

    Edit.
No i do not advised you to self prescribe i just note that you may need to know whether it was available.

Just to be sure, but is that the chemical used for cleaning products? Are you telling me I should drink cleaning products? (Obviously no, but you get my skepticism.)

Read the article first and they're indeed used in China and South Korea to treat covid 19.

If you're talking about [Redacted], NOT [Redacted], it's less dangerous, but
It IS. It's used to treat fish tanks. This whole rumor that it's a frickin' panacea started because of Trump's big mouth. Listen to experts, NOT FIGUREHEADS!

Read the article. As for the cleaning product why would you use a cleaning product instead of proper drug ?

Oh, so their not the same base.
Did you not read my inner thoughts? Who in their right minds would intake cleaning products?

You changed my mind, but still! I am not---

Yes, it can be used to treat some symptoms of COVID-19, but only when used in conjunction with another drug. AKA, if you just take it by itself as a preventative measure, being hospitalized is basically a guarantee. So no. Don't just drink aquarium cleaner.

Hey, hey, hey, as a medical practitioner, I very strongly advise you not to randomly prescribe medicine, especially on the basis of media reports and ESPECIALLY when you do not know how they work.

To be fair to the original poster, if you make sure what you're taking is the proper drug and was permissable by an actual doctor, by all means. I'm sure there's some benefits. But don't go popping pills on your own as preventable measures.

Ordering online for any Covid19 'cures' right now is a big no no no. Scams are rampant online.

If I recall correctly, it DOES have anti-viral activity but primarily because it turns your blood more alkaline and makes it hard for the virus to bind to the targets. But changing the pH of your blood is something you damn well be very careful about because it also messes up a lot of other reactions you need to survive.

On the off chance you are correct and [Redacted] can cure early-stage coronavirus, you still should absolutely not hoard it. By the time you can self-diagnose, it would be too late. If anything, hoarding would hinder hospitals' ability to treat you and others.

South Korea has kept Coronavirus from spreading through aggressive testing and contact tracing. They quarantine the infected before the disease can spread. That is why their number of hospitalized patients is so much lower than the rest of the world. We need better testing. Not experimental self-treatments.

I recommended that this thread be deleted just in case some idiot tries to follow reagents11's advice and self medicates himself into harm. This kind of thread can kill.

I know of 2 reports recently, one in Thailand and one in the US. The US patient died while the Thai one was warded and released after a hospital stay. Both OD cases.

Well as long as people see my post and ACTUALLY THINK TWICE BEING INGESTING A CLEANING AGENT. Then it may save someone's life.

Seriously though don't listen to the president for health advice. HE'S NOT A GOD DAMN DOCTOR OR SCIENTIST. :blobangery:

I wouldn't trust him to put a bandaid on my wound. :blobconfused:
