During the first battle against Bitch Goddess , naofumi has been saved by infinity series shield and thrown out beyond the realm itself (i dunno how to describe this) there he meet someone(godslayer?) and manage to see countless universe/world outside the realm that contain them(in a form of buble) i dunno if this two series related with each other but maybe someone assume it is one of that countless universe
Always puzzled when they say "same-universe" when NOTHING is similar to each other except of course that is has humans who are of questionable intelligence. You'd imagine that since you are assuming the literal version of universe, they'd employ similar laws and energies and what have you.
The only time it makes sense to me is in the context of "Oh they are from the Marvel Universe" Where it more comes down to characters, lore and such. But even that doesn't apply to most if not all theses stories.
No, shared universe stories really did share the same universe BUT though they share the same universe the planet they reside doesnt necessarily have the same logic and such take btth, tgr and wu dong qian kun perhaps, all this story share the same universe and some characters in the latter did some cameo on the other former (or was it vice versa). Though not all story MC meet each other but considering the shield bro ending which describe him traveling throughout the universe.. Just mean that they may have seen the "in another world without life" mc character but may have not bother to stay because just like what the title say its another world without life.. So.. Make sense? Anyway shield bro ending didnt even describe the planets they have visit right?
I know how these two are related, for the bitch goddess to manifest her real body in naofumi's world she needs the other worlds to stack together (it mentions 8 different worlds) , when she did this she insta killed the shield bro, basically the other novel represents the other world which is sucked out of life (by some anomaly both portagonist of the other novel were not drag by it).
