Well, as i said it's just a possiblity. So far we have Henley calling himself the personification of jealousy, telling his bud Ergi to not be in the room when he's talking to Navier, and then him saying to not show her non-icy side to Ergi or sumfin like that. He also fought with Capman over escorting her in the garden one time. I think that's all we have now? Probably more, but rip my poor brain. I could be overreacting, but... i look at all the other emperors in light novels, and.... well.
Hmmm first one is really spicy but short term damage fulfillment. Hoping it's the runner up theory because I'd be delighted to see Sovesomethingsomething have a breakdown seeing his country split apart and not being able to rule either because one part goes to Ergi and the other goes to Navier and her trophy hubby imagine the long lasting emotional trauma and psychological damage it would bring
I don't really think of Heinley as yandere tbh. And Ergi would get what's coming to him if he's stupid lol, yandere or not.
it's a joke due to my great fear of Heinley (who i adore as a male lead who else can turn into a bird and almost be fed worms for comic relief but then also be shady sometimes???) Joining the crazy obsessed emperor club...
Basic quick spoilers for 85 Spoiler Ergi comes for a visit while they're imprisoned, and Navier goes to talk with him. She says she doesn't care what Rashta does now, as it's no longer her place. However, she does not want Rashta to destroy the empire. Navier says this to him knowing he is friends with her. Yet again, Ergi says she is poking at his conscience. Anyway, it turns out Ergi is helping them escape! Good choice Duke. Cut to Stupidshoe talking about what he can do to prevent Navier from remarrying with his supporters. Chapter the ends with news of their escape.

I don’t get it. A few weeks back when I read some spoilers why he favours trashta over Navier, I thought Sovieshu was very capable emperor, like a whale in the ocean. And now when I read spoilers, I feel like he is more of a carp in a pond, while Navier is the real whale in the ocean. How can he claim that he doesn’t need a colleague but rather a spouse and work for two, both emperor and empress (because a slave is a slave at the end of the day, she didn’t get the education and training) and then fail so miserably managing his work and people? Yes, he was blind about trashta and schemed by her and the duke, but how can he think of Navier as if she is just as helpless? Did he not realize that what he wanted wasn’t any spouse instead of a colleague but Navier loving him? Ugh so stupid I’ll go scream somewhere now
I'm following on ch 40 something in wordxcept and I'm so grateful for all these spoiler.. I am going to put on hold this novel and just read the spoilers, the emperor and Rashta is too annoying to read. How come their action hadn't invite an uprising? I'm sure the nobles, or at least some of them, could put two and two together at what is happening from the start. Despite it not being their place to interfere in the personal lives of their imperial, this has already breached to affecting court matters, I'm sure?
