I can't fully grasp the mtl, but here's the gist I got from reading so far.



FYI c26 of the webtoon is about c55 ish in novel

So after MC Chung-Myung solves the elder master hwang's red demon illness. The youthful invigorated Elder decides to invest into the Mount Hua sect because MC and remove support from Jongnam (Southern Edge Sect), though his son is rather hesitant on this since Elder master Hwang is betting all of it on Mount Hua Sect.

However Elder master Hwang thinks MC Chung-Myung is gonna make it big and he smells money opportunity.

Spoiler: c60-62

Jongnam (Southern Edge sect)'s Isong Baek (aka the guy who fought MC & then become hero and beat the red demon poisoner ) visits MC and tells him he's returning to the sect, and requests a bimu (exchanging of blows / fighting).
MC finds out from this fight that
Jongnam (Southern Edge sect) has been trying to steal Mount Hua sects sect's Twenty-four Plum Blossom sword art and teaching it as a new martial art to disciples like Isong Baek.

MC gets really upset for being mocked and tells him he should not learn it and throw it away, and states "This is Muhak, which cannot be achieved."
(so I assume it means it's like an incomplete sword technique as when I look up Muhak means 'the uneducated' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhak )

Isong Baek hesitates & MC Chung-Myung tells him that "Some decisions are helpful to get advice from others, but real decisions are to be made alone. Neither my adult words nor mine will help. Think about it by yourself and decide it by yourself."

Isong Baek thanks MC as MC leaves in angry mood; MC gonna beat the Southern Edge Sect.


The Elder asks MC Chung-Myung what he'd like as a reward, besides he's supporting the Mount Hua sect..... MC asks for a favor since he didn't tell Mount Hua sect to save Elder Master Hwang ( didn't get permission and just went off and saved him)

Spoiler: Around c63-64

Spreading news of MC curing Elder Hwang.

The elders of Mount Hua Sect are discussing what to reward MC though there is a back and forth on whether he should be punished.
One of the ideas is to let MC learn a new martial art. But financial master said MC thinks learning a new martial art is just a form of punishment, MC should be able to leave the sect freely so he could also visit Elder Hwang and 'get more money' as he sees MC has a fortune bringer.

MC returns to the sect with Elder Hwang's son (? i'm not sure which is the son or I presume it's the son) (as MC Chung-Myung asked for a favor as he went to save Elder Hwang without getting permission the sect or letting them know of the letter)
And they discuss about how he has a merchant's eye and hwang will do his best to support Mount Hua Sect.

But basically they will stabilize their business in 3 days at expense of damage. Elder Hwang son is no longer hesistant after talking with MC and decides to put everything on the line in Mount Hua Sect

Spoiler: c66-90 Side Branches & Southern Edge Sect Arriving to Mount Hua - Pre-Conference

c66-67
MC meets a girl Yoo-Esul privately practicing martial arts where MC usually trains.
She is a Mount Hua disciple as she wears the uniform but from the private residence (Ehwa women branch). They have a banter between them probing eachother since they don't recognize the other.


c68
Southern Edge & Mount Hua Conference (aka bimu/bimoo) is going to be held earlier, and so great disciples are coming to Mount Hua as it will be held there.

The private servant residences/branches (Ehwa womens branch & Hwajong branch ) find out when returning to Mount Hua sect that it got repaired and looks better than in the past

Mount Hua is preparing food and alcohol for the guest coming.

The 3 great disciples of Mount Hua gather at night to be trained by MC Chung-Myung because Mount Hua is not allowed to lose. MC doesn't want to lose a second time.

MC teach them with a real sword, and the 3 great disciples have to fight him with wooden sword. Training to death!

the girl Yoo-Esul accidentally finds MC using the Plum blossom sword and she's mesmerized by it


c73-74
MC goes out drinking. And comes across the Hwajong Branch's great Disciples (lead by Baek Cheon). MC escapes avoiding tell them his name & returns to the sect with smell of alcohol. Hwajong Branch arrives at Mount Hua sect & confronts MC since Baek Cheon recognizes him

c77-79
Yoo-Esul wants to talk to MC so keeps following him. But he denies her.
Baek Cheon tries to step in a lot and ends up complaing that Chung-Myung is breaking rules by going out and drinking alcohol. But Mount Hua Elders allowed MC to go out freely and drinking is not prohibited, so backing up MC Chung-Myung. Hwajong Branch finds out what happened in Mount Hua sect and about MC.


c84-88
Yoo-Esul wants to learn from MC. She attacks MC because he won't teach her.

Baek Cheon jumps in ends up fighting MC. They make an oath not to tell anyone else what happened. so MC ends up beating up Baek Cheon.


Yoo-Esul wants MC to teach her the Plum Blossom sword art & also agrees not to tell other ppl what happened, but MC tells her that the groundwork needs to be laid first.

Southern Edge Sect great disciples arrive. They're surprised at the repaired sect & food but get cursed at by MC



c94
MC finds out (hwajong branch's)Baek Cheon is (southern edge's) Jin Geum Ryong's brother (they have different mothers). Baek Cheon is prideful and chose Mount Hua sect over Southern Edge sect.

Spoiler: c95-115 Southern Edge & Mount Hua Conference

c95-102
The conference begins.
Baek Cheon fights his brother and loses. 10 private branch disciples of Mount Hua fight and lose to Southern Edge Sect.

MC enters and beats up his opponent with fist fight. The other Mount Hua (main) also fight, and so they rack up 10 wins.

c103 -115
Since it's a tie. MC wants to tie break but in a winner can continue fighting..
MC asks for a dagger (i think it supposed to be sword but well mtl idk) and cooly beats people using just the basics. (the 3 disciples of Mount Hua are told to watch him carefully cuz gotta learn )

MC fights Isong Baek again but MC wins with basics too.
The final fight is with Jin Geum Ryong. Jin Geum Ryong shows off the stolen Plum Blossom art but it is an imitation/copy/illusion as the blossom melts. MC shows the real one and wins.


MC basically ends up teaching/training the private side branches after they agree to follow his order without complaint

Beginning of c116 there's a time skip & start of new arc with shamans
(Currently reading this one section but might take a break, brain little mush from mtl)

 

Spoiler: c117

Chung-Myung climbs Yeonhwabong and looking over Mount Hua Sect, he resolves to become stronger. When he climbs back down the plum blossoms are in bloom

Wiso Haeng arrives at the city town near Mount Hua Sect. He is surprised at how busy and lively the city is, so he thought he went to the wrong place

Wiso Haeng climbs to Mount Hua sect. Firstly he was denied visitation as the sect didn't allow visitors. But Wiso Haeng is from the Hwajeongmun/Hwa Yeongmun/Hwayoungmoon (inner family that supports Mount Hua sect) and is let inside and treated hospitably as "Hwa Young-mun is the only family that has consistently sent even a small amount of money to the home for the past 30 years". So they supported the sect despite the sect's decline.

Wiso Haeng asks to take Mount Hua Sects new Dragon, Chung-Myung, with him

Spoiler: c119

Wiso Haeng explains, there is a new military center JongdoGwan opening across the street, and it became part of the shaman's inner family and thus aggressively recruiting trainees.

HwaYeongmun's region Namyan didn't respond because they have lot of things, but Jongdogwan started to go after them directly.

Wiso Haeng's father couldn't stand them and was defeated & badly wounded.

Jongdogwan said they asked for support from Wudang headquarters because they were planning to drive HwaYeongmun out of Namyan. So Wiso Haeng was sent to ask for help once he heard that the shamans were coming.

The Mount Hua sect elders discuss who to send but little hesistant to send Chung-Myung and they have to consider which disciples to send because once they send them out it means Mount Hua will resume outside activies & confront the shamans.

The elders call for Yoon-jong and ask what is Chung-Myung is doing, and Chung-Myung is in closed-door seclusion training. Yoon-jong brings Wiso Haeng to where Chung-Myung is supposedly training blocked behind a rock. Yoon-jong calls for Chung-Myung and hearing no response plans to say goodbye today and return tomorrow to check. However suddenly there are explosions as if the sky was collapsing, and the rock boulder blocking the opening explodes & Chung-Myung appears all dirty, complaining he almost got bitten and killed.

Wiso Haeng thinks MC Chung-Myung is young and handsome but kind of in doubt that he is the Mount Hua Dragon (mtl calls it dinosaur from time to time so lol)
They go back to visit the elders, after MC washes himself clean. Elder Hyun Jong asks if he had a successful closed training where MC responds smiling, "The shamans will find out with their bodies."
But they decide that MC should eat cuz he must be hungry.

Great Sasuk Unam (junior of master) wonders why the shamans are picking a fight with Mount Hua and why they'd be interested in Namyang region.

There's a small talk about Mount Hua Sect disciples calling MC, "Mount Hua Rabid Dog" but Unam thinks rabid dog is too much, " let's go with the blind dog."

MC Chung-Myung eats a lot as he starved for 3 months.
Baek Cheon (from Hwajong branch) & Yoo Esul (Ehwa women's branch) & Yoon-jong & Jo-Gol go with Chung-Myung & Wiso Haeng.
Elder Hyun Jong tell Baek Cheon to lead the others well because he believes in him; Yoo Esul & Yoon-jong & Jo-Gol need to help Baek Cheon. But all he asks of Chung-Myung is not to get in trouble. lol

Spoiler: c122 Travel to HwaYeongmun

Chung-Myung is drinking along their journey on cart. Yoo-esul feeds MC jerky tossing it into his mouth.

Wiso Haeng explains about his family and his father being proud of being part of Mount Hua sect (not neglecting training) but it was weird his father lost to a young man (bell owner?) in a fight. Wiso Haeng also didn't expect Mount Hua sect to help HwaYeongmun as the shamans are involved.

Chung-Myung wants most is to beat up the shamans so wants to go faster!!! Baek Cheon is silently sending condolences to shaman disciples since they'll be beat up.

Spoiler: c123

Wirip San & his disciple Yeom Pyung are waiting anxiously for Mount Hua sect.

Shaman student/disciple Jin Hyun comes and states two military centers in Namyang will have problems, and Mount Hua will suffer most damage from it so the Shamans will pay compensation for opening and causing some damage and cover costs if Hwayeongmun leaves & settles elsewhere.

Wirip San doesn't intend to leave.

Shaman disciple Jin Hyung then states then if they want to run the military center, then they need to remove the plum print on the signboard because it's incompatible with Shaman's inner house. If they take off Mount Hua's name, then HwaYeongmun can accept Shaman's instead so the centers can get along.... or else the shamans will get rid of HwaYeongmun forever.

Wirip San is still firm and will not abandon Mount Hua Sect.

MC Chung-Myung enters with cursing entrance!!

Spoiler: c124

Mount Hua sect disciples arrive and treat Shaman disciples as passerby. Wiso Haeng returns excited to his dad Wirip San with his mission fulfilled.

Shaman disciple Jin Hyung realizes the crazy guys are Mount Hua disciples.

Baek Cheon greets Wirip San very formally and politely telling him, they are disciples sent by Jang Moon-in.. However he was mistaken to be the dragon of Mount Hua sect, which Baek Cheon corrects him and says he's not he's from Hwajong branch.

Chung-Myung is found out to be the Mount Hua sect dragon, but people find it absurd.

Baek Cheon and Shaman disciple Jin Hyung suggest to settle things through conversation but it's fleeting.
MC is like this is a waste of time. Jin Hyung doesn't think MC Chung-Myung has manners but MC calls it a load of shit, since the shamans only use manners when they need them but just breaks into someone's door and tells people to leave & threatens to kill people.

Spoiler: c125

They end up deciding tomorrow at the same time to fight each other. MC thinks they're running away & decides to go in and sleep.
Jin Hyung was afraid of shedding blood right then so agreed to fight tomorrow.

Wirip San passes out and thinks what happens is unbelievable dream "Yes, I had a very strange dream. A man came from Mount Hua Sect, and a son of a b*tc* started a quarrel with Shaman students and asked them to play a game with the fate of Hwa Yeongmun."
But his disciple Yeom-pyeong tells him it's real LOL
Wirip San thinks they should down the Mount Hua Signboard to keep the Hwayeongmun. But his son Wiso Haeng tells him that even if his father gives up Mount Hua disciples will not leave & that he doesn't think they'll lose to the shaman. But Wiso Haeng sympathsizes with his father over this

Spoiler: c126

Wiso Haeng thinks 'Mount Hua Sect is doomed. Father.' seeing the disciples eating drinking so carefree.

Wirip San made a decision, "Hwayeongmun will give up on Namyeong and step down, so please stop. Go back to Mount Hua Sect"

However "No matter how you stop it this time, the same thing will continue."

MC Chung-Myung asks if there's anything great here in Namyang because the Shamans are too aggressive. But Wirip San state there isn't anything great here.
Anyhow MC said the elder told him to solve the problem in Hwajeongmun; if he doesn't, then the elder will sigh at the moon for 3 months. So MC will make the shaman cry and repay the Hwayeongmun.

MC asks for a favor he wants more alcohol though LOL

The shaman disciples are preparing for the fight.
JongdoGwanju is not important but once this is over the shaman will reward them.
Jin Hyun made a fake group called JongdoGwan to look for a tomb of a sword (mtl calls this sword gun)
But first part of plan to drive out Mount Hua Sect, and then shaman will take over the world.

Wirip San states he will stay and fight but states the disciples of HwaYeongwan can leave or stay it's up to them.
MC and Mount Hua sect wake up, motivate eachother reminding eachother that this is the signal of Mount Hua's external activities~

Spoiler: c128

Shamans arrive and the way Jin Hyun acts reminds MC of past Baek Cheon when he was haughty, so MC reminds Baek Cheon of it and Baek Cheon turns red.

There's a squabble where Jin Hyun talks about Shaman Taegeukgi defeated the Plum Blossom sword saint, but the shamn hid the results. Mount Hua Sect disciples are upset & can't forgive the Shaman disciples for the lies.

MC is not upset, but he finds it absurd since it's a distorted/miscontrued story, since he knows he beat up the Shaman, but he has good impression of the Shaman since the Shaman called MC brother first LOL


MC doesn't plan on fighting just letting other Mount Hua disciples fight.

Spoiler: c129

There's a crowd watching the fight, and they talk about how Mount Hua sect beat the Southern Edge sect
Mount Hua sect is strong~

Spoiler: c130

Wirip San is surprised & disbelieve that Mount Hua Sect is winning in the fight.
Chung-Myung offers Wirip San a drink, and states if he fought and lost then he'd put his nose into the dish, laughing it off.
While watching the fight, Chung-Myung counts the Mount Hua disciples mistakes made in the fight.

Jin Hyun is fighting Baek Cheon and asks how Baek Cheon became strong; Baek Cheon responds he trained hard & shrugs it off.
Baek Cheon tells Jin Hyun that MC Chung-Myung won't come out with his current skills because he has to be on the right level to fight MC, so Baek Cheon will play with Jin Hyun instead.
And Baek Cheon tells Jin Hyun to leave and not touch Hwayeongwan if he loses; Jin Hyun accepts if the shaman disciples lose it's on his honor.

Baek Cheon's sword has some red plum blossom blooming at the tip of his sword & wins the fight.

Spoiler: c131 Mount Hua defends Hwahyeongmun

Yoon-jong is embarrassed when more shaman disciples run to fight him, but he admits he is the weakest of the Mount Hua lot that got dispatched here.
He points out Yoo-Esul who's sword is cutting through space, like look her sword is more elegant and beats her opponent.

Jin Hyun is unconscious & another Shaman disciple Jinmu admits their loss when Baek Cheon mentions the shaman disciples don't stand a chance. The shaman disciples & JongdoGwan will leave the South by tonight.

Namyang residents came to congratulate Wirip San and Hwayeongmun over being victorious over the Shamans.

But Chung-Myung wears a mask and starts his work to spy on the shamans, the disciples try to stop him but are unable to.

Spoiler: c132

Jin Hyun wakes up with deep internal injuries. Jinmu relays they lost and the shaman disciples situation.

Jin Hyun tells Jinmu he should return home to tell them what's going on. Jin Hyun doesn't plan to go back to the shamans as they only agreed to leave.


Mu Jin arrives; he is a shaman's sword - a great disciple (sasuk), known as the strongest. Mu Jin states he was sent by the elder since he was worried and inquires what happened in Namyang/Namyoung.


Mu Jin and Jin Hyun notices MC in black clothes; Jin Hyun clearly recognizes its MC Chung-Myung, but MC denies he is Mount Hua's dragon.
MC states that Jin Hyun doesn't understand, "Soon you'll admit that I'm not who I am. That's how it usually works."
Jin Hyun is angry, but Mu Jin agrees with MC, "You're not a pupil of Mount Hua Sect, you're a robber." .... "I'm just cutting off the robber here. Mount Hua's disciple was never there in the first place. Don't you think so?"

MC exclaims, and thinks Mu Jin is smart since he understood what MC was saying & playing along so they can fight.

They threaten eachother, Mu Jin says

Mu Jin(無振) is the 22nd disciple of the Great Wudang faction. He is member of the Mujabae, the great disciple of the shaman, and a member of the Shaman Samgeom. He has a blue-liquid sword, and leads the shamans.

However this is first time someone ignored Mu Jin's great existance. (MC Chung-Myung ignores him)

Chung-Myung proposes a bet, so if Mu Jin loses, then MC gets to know about the sword gun.. if Chung-Myung loses, then Chung-Myung must take off the mask and apologize saying Mount Hua is no match for the Shaman.

However MC remarks, that he's not Mount Hua disciple atm so it's not possible LOL

They have a staring contest. Jin Hyung glaring with bloody eyes.
Chung-Myung tells him to stop the staring contest, and Mu Jin brows wiggles as like "Do you want me to go first?" and thinks MC is being arrogant

So MC is like well "Then I'll go. Just don't regret it."
MC Chung-Myung attacks first and the air explodes, and Mu Jin realizes the blood falling, but he purposely didn't attack Mu Jin to decapitate him as if it hit his neck he'd die.

Mu Jin attacks with the blue blackish sword, Pursuit Sword.
However MC splits it with his sword like a sunset

Mu Jin unleashes Darkness Table, but Chung-Myung reads the technique and swims through it like plum petals falling.
Mu Jin uses Myeonjang (The art of representing shamans, Tension that runs smoothly like a stream of water)

However MC kicks it and loud explosions are made and the rebound pushes Mu Jin.

Mu Jin uses a white-black sword, Taeguk Hyegum (The wisdom sword symbolizing shamanism and the supreme law of shamanism. The inexplicable and complexity of the prosecution that no one has completed since the investigation. )

But MC cuts it and says it's an unskilled sword; that Mu Jin should learn the basics first and that he's stupid for taking out an unfamiliar sword because Mu Jin would die in battlefied with it.

MC wants to beat him up more since he thinks it's not over and MC still has grudge over what happened with HwaYeongmun, it's not personal just his sect's & inner family sect's grudge which he must carry.

And MC busts Mu Jin's nose and beats him up with his sword, making him unconscious


MC demands Jin Hyun to tell him about the gun sword or else he'll wake up Mu Jin with violence (or well he can beat up Jin Hyun too)

Jin Hyun explains it's a grave of a swordless man.

One of the inner shaman houses was robbed and in process of arresting & investigate the thief, Jin Hyun got the report saying there is one near Namyang/Namyoung.

And that 200 years ago, there was a dagger/sword where you'd win every fight with it. The winner would always take the opponent's love bottle (Like their beloved sword) as trophy. But the rumor was the sword disappeared, & Dagger(?) Mu-hyeong collected the weapons he had collected in one place, and used it as his grave & even left his martial arts....


MC hits Mu Jin after hearing the story since it sounds like big lie being fed to younger disciples
"The shaman needs the martial arts of a man who is 40 years out of wedlock? A shaman?"


Mu Jin wakes up and explains the the grave is Yakson's grave.
Yakson is famous for a method on creating elixir which enhances inner strength & surpassed spirit tablets of two groups


MC makes Jin Hyun give him the report that he got after threatening him; as MC also wants what's in Yakson's grave.

MC makes the other disciples decode the strange code picture report he got from the Shamans overnight.

In meantime, MC helps Wirip San recover and heal his injuries by giving him of his pure energy, guiding him to follow MC's energy


The Mount Hua sect disciples can't decode the picture once dawn arrives.
However since the Shamans are coming soon, Yoon-jong suggest spreading the news of Yakson's grave, so other sects come at the same time, so Mount Hua sect doesn't have to fight them alone & the other sects can keep them in check.


MC ends up selling the code to the Bunta Owner Hong Dae Kwang. However the Bunta owner offers a low price because it's a shaman's item...
so MC leaves to go to Hao Mun branch to get a better deal but is stopped by the Bunta owner and ends up selling the code for 330 million (or 3.3 million??? the numbers keep changing in mtl )

After getting the money, MC says it's authentic because a shaman already interpreted & solved the code.....& they're coming to Namyang for the grave...

Ok so, starting from were it was left (sorry for the broken english)

Spoiler: 145+

The shamans go to the grave but MC has someone waiting for them, so he knows as soon as they get to the city and goes running to were they were seen. The shamans find the grave easily but are watched by the other warriors and as soon as the lider cut open the grave a fight ensue. Some stay to stop the others and the main force enters the grave. CM and co get there after a while and since there are too many warriors trying to get in he starts to punch people to the air. The guy from the beggars sect has followed MC with some other beggars.

MC tricks the strongest warriors into the grave and help the beggars get in there too, then destroys the entrance. The grave is just a huge trap to make people suffer, tho MC collects some valuable things, but at some point he tell everyone no to touch anything, the beggar took the same thing MC has been collecting before and triggers a trap that almost killed them. then they get to a huge room were all the other roads converge and find some criminals that have been killing everyone who gets there, MC beheade one of them, but when the real fight was going to start Baek tell him he is going to help, and the other disciples say the same. MC does not want to let them for fear of them been hurt, but he knows he must let them grow. So he say he feels like a parent. Baek did not wanted to fight just to help MC but to stop him from killing more people, in the end the only to kill two people is MC, who thinks the others compassion can be dangerous but he is also glad to not be alone anymore and say "this MH is also pretty good"

after a while they find the shamans at the end of that place (they all are at the bottom of a cliff), the elder of the shamans fight MC over the swords and a box that everyone thinks contains the formula. (MH disciples are statick for been in a cliff because MH IS IN A CLIFF, and they are too used to train with MC there )

MC gets the respect of the elder, and said elder even ask MC to become his disciple, promising that he will get a prominent position in the sect, but MC refuse. The other shamans get to where MC and the elder are fighting and take the box triggering the last trap that destroys the whole cliff, making huge rocks fall to were everyone is

how everyone gets saved

Spoiler: the conclusion for the grave

MC thinks fast and realize that everything is a test, that the grave owner never left anything in there, but he thinks that as a test there is a way to survive. He screams for everyone to get to the bottom and look in the ground with their swords or hands, there they find an space made of steel, they get inside in the nick of time, but the rocks are too heavy so MC stands and tries to support the ceiling with his hands, the shamans and everyone who can stand helps, if they cant get to ceiling to resist the rock everyone is gonna die.

In the end everyone who was alive when the got to the cliff survive, but the other warriors who could not get in the tomb want for them to be searched in case they got some treasure, the shamans got enraged but MC was the one who cut all that off by punching tha instigator into the air, and the shamans promised by their honor that there was nothing.

The Shaman`s elder tries one last time to recruit MC but gets refused once again.

Once back to the family house the beggar boss promised to open a branch near MH.

In their way back to MH, MC keeps complaining for not getting the formula, but then the kids start to talk and understand why the grave owner did what he did, when he was know for helping people, thanks to that MC understand that the grave they found ins just the first part and a lesson, a lesson of life`s road and how futile all the figthing is, so MC goes back as in a trance and passing the place were the grave is, he gets to a forest and from there to a creek inside the rock he finds a metal box that even now is well preserved and inside is the formula and 20 pills. MC understood Yakson meaning because he has already died and can look back on what he did wrong. From then On the get so scared of getting robbed that they run to MH without rest

Spoiler: TRAVEL TO UNNAM

The sect lider and the others are beyond happy for having the formula, (Elder Yong even wanted to capture a dragon to serve it to MC and then send him to other places lol) they ask the merchant group to help them collect the items without telling them what are they for, and asking that said purchase is done in secret. The items are paid with the thing MC collected from the tomb (it seems that its some kind of silk that is extremely expensive) But a while latter the merchant informed them that even when they can get most of the items it impossible for an herb, said herb grows only in unnam, and unnam is dominated by the beast palace who has forbid all travel and commerce with foreigners

Hence MC and co go to Unnam, the sect leader give Baek total control, and even tell him that all he does can be taken as if the sect lider has done it. Before going every one of them consume one of the pills but the one with the biggest reaction is MC who destroy the sect lider house while consuming all the energy of the pill.

During the travel MC offer the others a way to make them stronger and for them to consume the pill energy faster, what will take them 20 years they can do it in 30 days. They say yes, and then regret it.

MC method is to hit them, tho in reality when he hits them he insert part of his energy in them and guide the accumulated energy so they can process it faster. So he hits them to a pulp every day, but he also gets really tired but always hide so no one can see it.

Before reaching Unnam they reach Sacheon dominated by the Tang clan (yes this is a korean novel OF COURSE THERE IS A TANG CLAN lol). There they must find a way to sneak into Unnam, but after almost a day of no result Jo-Gol say that people knows but no one can see any reason to help them, then they remember that Jo-Gol is from sacheon, and Jo-Gol reluctantly takes them to his home. Once there they think his family own a little store but he tell them that the entrace is over there, but over there is just A HUGE wall, as in a HUGE compound

Spoiler: Jo-Gol Family

Jo-gol is a young master, yup. He is the oldest son that shall inherit Death Sea Merchant company. They are as big and rich as the other merchant group that is helping Mount Hua. Jo-gol did not wanted to look for his family because he must had go back to the family the year before. There is a sad moment when Jo-Gol see his parents and they hug him where everyone else in the gang feels...sad for themselves because everyone is an orphan (or as CM reminds Baek Cheol) someone abandoned, so all of them wish for the warm of a family.

The problem with Jo-gol family is that he refuse to go back, he wants to stay in MH, but it ends when the tang get to the house late at night demanding for Jo-gol to show himself and to show them if he going to MH was worth it. They do this because every influential family in suechian MUST send their sons to be trained by the Tang family were they learn only second class martial arts, the only ones to learn the martial arts of the Tang family is THE FAMILY, not even the daughters in the family can learn it. The Tang do that to keep in check all the families and because that way everyone will need the protection provided by the Tang family. Jo-Gol could go to MH because MH was considered a second or even a third class sect, and Jo-Gol refused to be a scarecrow for the Tangs with no real ability.

As its to be expected Jo-gol wins against the second son of the Tang Lider

 

Talking about family..

Spoiler: Baek Cheon family

Baek Cheon real name is Jin Dong Ryong that means white dragon, his big brother name means golden dragon and his second brother name means silver dragon. His father ask Baek to go back to the suthern edge sect once he see how strong Baek becomes, but Baek reject him telling him that he will become Mount Hua next Sect Lider

When I have some time I will spoil the Tang family arc and Unnam arc, also how did Mount Hua gets his 24 stile sword back. Also I wanted to know if MC ever tell them who he really is but has of 750+ they still know nothing T-T. But for jumping arcs I spend more than an hour crying my eyes out at two in the morning yesterday T-T poor MC my hearth broke

 

What happen? Also that dedication lol reading hundreds of mtl damn..

 

I better spoil the other arcs before I forget them

Spoiler: Tang Family

So Jo-Gol won against Tang-Jan the second (?) son of the clan lider and the overlord family of suechian, but before the guy ended up traumatized for having lost MC talks to him and made him understand that people need to know defet to get better, someone who always win will never improve, that changed completely Tang-Jan attitude, MC also revealed a secret technique of the Tang Clan which shocked him, in the end he was grateful with MC, but even when he would like for things to stop there, its not his choice but the clan`s. They all leave that night. Latter MC its seen alone in his room placing a cup of alcohol in front of him and toasting to someone called Dangba (?) who was a dear friend and an elder of the Tang Clan back in the day, it seems Tang-jan looks like Dangba and that is MC help him after the fight. MC drink that night as if he wanted to drown himself in alcohol and just forget his loneliness.

To explain a little about Dangba, he was an elder that escaped from the Tang clan and did what he wanted just like MC, not caring about the clan, but when the fight with the demonic cultivators started, Dang ba fought at the side of MC, and he shared with MC his desire to go back to the clan and help them, he also said that he got frustrated and left because the other elders pushed for the use of poison rather than martial arts. For Dangba, using poison was useless against real masters because with qi, masters can burn the poison or expel it from their bodies, so he wanted to go back and help his clan to develop in the right track, saddly Dangba died a month latter without ever helping his clan.

Going back to the present, the Clan lider was mad at what happened until his son told him that MC knew about the secret technique of their clan (it WAS supposed to be a secret but Dangba casually told MC about it lol ) , the clan lider though that MC could be useful in which case they could work together, but if MC was not useful he would kill him. The clan lider, his older son and Tang-jan go back to the merchant association, Jo-gol father wanted to make them leave before that happened but he was too slow, so when the clan lider got there Jo-gol father wanted to refuse the clan lider request to see the disciples of Mount Hua, but in the end MC and the others go out by themselves. After an exchange with MC, the clan lider propose that if MC survives 10 seconds of his attacks they can reach an agreement. the clan lider end up attacking without holding back because MC keep doging or stoping his attacks (the clan lider was having fun), but in the last second, when MC was already tired and beated up, the oldest son of the clan lider attacked him and stabbed him in the stomach. Clan lider was FURIOUS, Jo-gol and the rest took MC and refused the help of the clan lider, he swore to help MC with all his power.

MC spend 3 days sleeping, all the gang refused to sleep or leave him in the hands of the tang, so when MC woke up he saw them all sprawled in the floor, the clan lider told him they havent sleep in 3 days. Both of them reach an agreement of working together and MC ask for one of the Tang clan cultivation pills and other benefits (boy he made the Tang lider hearth BLEED XD). The thing was that even if the Tang clan was "powerful", they were surrounded by people that was eyeing their territory, with Mount Hua they would have an strategic helper that can keep in check several powers, but one of the conditions for their pact was for the Tang Clan to see Mount Hua as a friend, not a partner or an ally, a friend, a friend they will have to help even if there was nothing to gain, and Mount Hua will do the same with them, the clan lider accepts, but when he tries for the elders to accept working with Mount Hua they oppose.
