Reverse Rape tag on NU

So I recently found the reverse rape tag on NU and saw the description.


I kinda disagreed on this because whether you're male or female, rape is rape. There's no saying that just because a female is raping a male, it's reversed. That's just sexist.

Afterwards I decided to google the word reverse rape and found the urban dictionary definition beautiful.

 

Shouldn't this be consensual sex then?

 

2 sides consent = consensual
1 side consent = rape
0 sides consent = reverse rape

 

...... begone thot... desu~

and no obviously being on top is what counts in the rape game desu~

Just replace it with femdom.

 

its a tag, not a political statement. when looking at porn as an example, rape is mostly male on female, so if someone wants to see female on male rape, what will they search? should they just search rape and then have to look through everything to find what they're looking for? no, so instead people made another tag, and since male on female rape is ''the norm'' female to male rape is ''reverse rape''

 

Its reverse because its usually the male doing the deed. Plus the male always gets the benefit of relieving sexual urges.
Its not sexist in my dictionary.

 

It the same reason why nobody find it weird if woman wear jean, boot or manly clothes(not really sure which is consider manly clothes) while man wearing dress, skirt etc is call cross dresser.

honestly if theres a problem with the nu tag description its that it says that 1 of the people HAVE to be the mc. so you cant get raped/rape unless its by the mc/you're the mc?

 

Well if its hentai even ntr is welcome. But in novels I avoid tags like this.

 

I'm all for equality, unless it becomes inconvenient. The purpose of tags is to help readers find or avoid certain novels. If you remove the distinction you might cause a slight inconvenience to those people who are for or against rape due to their sexual orientation.

I personally enjoy harems and often visit a site that does not differentiate reverse harems. If I end up reading the latter, it's not the end of the world, but it is a minor inconvenience with a relatively easy fix.

Rape is rape, no matter what the circumstances. The women still becomes pregnant in the end, you know?

In the context of NU, which is all the tags:
Rape: guy rapes a girl.
Reverse Rape: the girl forces herself on the guy.
Don't bring in concepts of sexism and all that. This is just literary and simple meanings which apply to the stories listed here.

Like many have pointed out. The tag is generally used to define Female on Male rape rather than Male on Female rape.

Femdom doesn't really fit the agenda, since a Femdom can be considered a consensual affair, after all. It stands for Female Dominant. In the BDSM circle, Domme.

If anything, the Tag needs re-work since it isn't concise and is worded weirdly.

It is a bit like Cockolding is merely a kink that focus on the Man. But Cuckqueaning is the Kink that focus on the Woman.

 

It's just a matter of relevancy. Just like a side characters romantic subplot or tragic outcome should not be relected on tags. The tags are there mostly for the main story and main characters' sake.

We don't give any fucks to hundreds of people getting raped in the world in which the story is set, unless these rapes get descriptive, or these rapes have an impact on the story...which in most cases means that one of the two is the MC
