It's happening. Saw this coming and it did. https://dotesports.com/league-of-le...game-company-moonton-lol-mobile-legends-15786 Now to see how it plays out.
ahahaha.. riot was way too late on suing this company. I enjoyed playing Magic Rush and I love the real time war simulation in the world map but I quit because of some high level fixers of the game
This should play out pretty simply it was so obvious I was wondering if they were just letting them keep going to pile on evidence.
I dunno man... I totally couldn't see any obvious correlation with League at all... Still, Mobile Legends: Bang bang and the other games were pretty fun for the mobile version. Maybe if LoL made a free mobile version, none of this would have happened...
I think they were waiting for the money to pile up. There's no point in milking a pauper, right? Or they might be aiming to settle with getting shares from the company so that they can profit without doing anything.
I mean it looks like a open and shut case those three games pretty much do copy LoL a lot. esp the example the article uses with the girl/teddy bear and girl/toy robot. also level design being practically the same just some edges are round in one and in the other sharp.
*grabs popcorn* well this'll be interesting good luck to riot in proving it to be a copyright infringement in chinese courts when they just ripped off the design as long as the name is different it doesn't matter
I mean it depends how corrupt the court system in China is. Sure copyright in China is a joke but riot is owned by Tencent which is pretty much the largest company in China. I could see them having some influence over the case.
riot is owned by tencent. meaning riots ip also belongs to tencent. the new mobile game of lol is made by tencent. this shit is going nowhere fast. except in change of staff in riot
well... if mobile legend call themselves mobile defense guess Defense of the Ancient 2 [DOTA2] would do the suing
Not expecting of them make a mobile version. This was bound to happen. Seems like, some geniuses forgot that there is still a law called 'copyright' exist in this world.
kings of glory or whatever its called in west first started in china for an obvious reason. chinese people LOVE mobile games. and everyone has a mobile. and just about everyone is playing. not to mention being published by a company that owns riot and lol for.several years now
Good thing I already jumped ship to Heroes Evolved because it's way better than that Mobile Legends .
Well... Here is some kinda somehow and somewhat important question... Who here who actually playing the game or just to comment on this thread... I am the latter
