Yep...despite the fact that the author's sense of Plotline is lacking, I'm still enjoying this novel...though my fav chapters are under the hundred mark and I'm mostly reading to find out what happens next.

 

Ok, author does remember this whole arc is about the MC powering up.

Why do I think we're gonna switch tracks and have a golf chapter? Author has done this before...and I'm a cynic.

When this novel is done, I'm gonna sit down and reread from beginning...see how badly the author had to rethink and revise the plot and his often vain attempt to make the plot internally consistent....

Because I still love this novel despite all the flaws...there are a lot.

Am I the only one disturbed by how the MC seems to be something of a sociopath? There's something to be said about the KR trend toward condoning slavery and torture reminiscent of a wuxia novel.

What seems ok in a VROMMRPG novel is bad in a VR turns to reality. We don't find anything wrong with Shi Feng's bodyguards, but really, the MC seems to use the gaming prompts to pretend this isn't reality, so he can do whatever he wants...even though the people are so human, and he even slept with someone...

Oh well. Late night philosophizing.

I really dislike the slavery aspects I find in this novel, despite the fact that it was there from the beginning. Oh well, at least the MC is not a total bastard like the MC of FFF trash hero...

Am I the only person disturbed by the absurdities in the time measurements in this novel? Just how big are these spaces, that it takes months to explore them?

Seriously, another annoyance is that this late in the novel, we’re introduced to yet another brand new race. It’s tricky to introduce an obvious major plot development this close to the end. Leaves the reader thinking that the author wrote himself into a corner and needs a major plot device to get out.

Yet another cliffs...but this time, we got to see the MC use his mind...figuring out that someone was summoning the rats.

I did have an interesting thought...necromancers typically summon fairly sturdy minions, like skeleton warriors. But what if you’ve chosen to bury your enemies alive!? Zombie rats would be terrifying, without shield magic, or wide area attack spells...which so far we have yet to see in this world.

 

I just hate Wordpress...not intuitive and annoying to me.

And who here thinks the asspull of Firestorm is completely unjustified? MC should have been after a wide area, low damage attack many chapters ago. The author thinks this is a dramatic point.

But the biggest problem with writing OP characters is to have the reader forget what powers they have. This novel is especially bad at this...hence my suspicion that the author crippled the inhabitants of the game world have a significant power gap compared to monsters deliberately.

Still good, and I like the action chapter. But I keep wishing the author would take more care in plot lines...however given the pay per chapter model, this may be impossible...

 

there is also k book like this if i remember the name correctly the king of strength or The Master of Strength something like that, where MC be like all strength every extra point he add it up to strength, though the latest translated chapter i think the author are trying to make it up for it by giving him guess that grant him what he lacks

Not sure if its just trendy there on one or two tracked attributes mc.

 

That was fun. And good. Author can really put out a good wuxia “Young Master thrashes monsters” chapter if he wants to. (sarcasm intended)

There does seem a cliche in KR novels...MC who work themselves to death can’t be defeated. Now, I am waiting for the KR novel where the MC worked himself to death in a VRMMORPG game...and transferred to an Isekai due to overworking to death...

This was as fun as the early chappies.

 

Still somewhat disturb with the casual acceptance of slavery common to wuxia, and KR and JP novels, but I do like the fact that the author is trying to FINALLY consolidate all the plot loose ends.

The author would do well to make his quest subplots modular...not congruent to reality, but easier on the reader to keep the plot lines. Reality doesn’t keep plot lines modular, but before the reader is willing to invest in a novel, the author is wise to have some modular subplots in the beginning of a novel. This gives the reader a chance to invest and fall in love with the prose.

 

All the plot loose ends? you mean even the golf chapters which I've been waiting?
