You made me remember a side story i really loved ,it was about a boy and girl from different times ,but even that wasn't an obstcle for them to fall in love , i think they saw each other in their dreams,they were what inspire one another to be brave ,they also both had tragic and cursed destinies. Lol i didn't even finish the anime but this side story was engraved in my mind. *50 feels per second
I THINK Code Geass is my saddest ever anime , because they left me hanging at that ending !!!!!!! It left me so sad that frustated me to death. Sounds like Voices of a Distant Star. That was Makoto Shinkai's first film and he animated it by himself. The whole time dilation thing while fighting aliens reminds me of Gunbuster. If any of you like mecha and haven't seen it then it's required watching.

Now I'm sad because I remembered all those sad animes I've watched. Then there are some animes that I've never watched and got me curious so I read the synopsis in wikipedia and now I'm also depressed, and I'm in the middle of work which makes me more miserable. Damn. BTW, the only tears you should shed for Boku no Pico are tears of regret from watching the damn thing.
