I liked the old title "Sage Emperor" much more I think it had a vibe to it ,the new one it's just meh
I don't know... To me Sheng Wang is just another cliché xianxia novel. I hoped DeathBlade would translate something better but he is the translator so he should translate the novel he likes. In the end NU community will gain another novel so congratulations everyone and thanks DB.
I honestly though deathblade would continue with the er gen cycle. With the newest one "whitin ones grasp", but I guess qidian quickly got there hands on that one or something.
Hmm I had asked the people who read the novel ahead but everyone told me that the powerups were ridiculous and totally illogical, sacrificing liters of blood even though the amount he sacrifices isn't possible to store in human body
You're reading a novel where people have super powers. It's odd that you found that illogical. Anyways, it would be like wolverine's healing or deadpool growing a new limb. There are alot of little nuances that authors assume readers know. like when reading a xianxia novel, you would expect people that spits out blood multiple times in a span of days won't die meanwhile i just donated a bag of blood and they told me i can't donate for another 3 months.
@dweenator Already seeing superhuman feats and healing speed in non-Xuanhuan, non-Xianxia, Soldier-King, Bodyguard genre CN Novels where MC suffering from multiple fractures including hips, wrists, legs, ribs manages to totally heal within a few weeks with just normal CN-govt subsidised medication and hospital treatment. MC bleeds and hemorrhages for hours and can still survive. MC or recurring villains can survive falling off Mount Everest, survive sniper shots and other crap.
Well if deathblade picked it he probably read ahead so he must have some reason for it so i want to trust his reason into picking thsi one up is good, going to wait for some chapters to be out before reading it
Even if he picked it up a good reviewer told me it's probably the same as the novels currently ongoing on WW (no offence but except ergen novels most of the CN are trash in terms of story)
Its exactly because he was the one that picked up er gen stuff that i want to believe he also picked up some other good stuff for us, i also know very feel CN novels that are actually good
