After a long time I've read the manga 'Sakura Hime Kaden' again and as always I was wondering if the marks on the foreheads of the moon citizen were gems or tattoos. Also if the humans who drunk the moon spring water did become real moon citizen/creatures? If so, why (now attention please, here comes a spoiler) didn't the rest of them (those who survived the battles) die too after the moon spring was destroyed. It was their origin and source of life. They just reverted back into humans, but didn't lose their beautiful appearance (besides the forehead mark). Any suggestions?
You sure? On wiki it says, it's just an ordinary mark. Maybe I did read it wrong?! In the manga it looks indeed like a gem, also the way it appears, a tattoo wouldn't cause so much bleeding?!
