Oh, so you meant the beginning. I will tell you than. I read too much of the same beginnings and if you twist it in another way, it might be unique, but it's not the most important part. Just going with something easy and the result is the most people choose it anyway. You will have to bear with it.
Maybe you just have bad luck with picking stories? Aka, you might be looking for something that happens to coincide with gamer mcs. Well if you pick litrpg, the chance of MC being a gamer is higher. But that isn't always the case. Right now, the trend is moving to korean novels, so you will see a lot of these things. But that doesn't mean it is the case for every isekai. I know my isekai isn't a gamer, they might have played a few games but they aren't a gamer. Overall if it is only in intro chapter and not something that is used to annoy you throughout the novel, it shouldn't be an issue.
But the OP was complaining about the overabundance of isekai on ScribbleHub. The part about the MC was just additional info. His real gripe is with isekai genre in particular.
Well it's just a trend at the moment. It will dies with a bit of time. After all, I am sure I am not the only (newbie) author, who is thinking to challenge another genres too.
