what was the Black Bracelet again?
an un named artifact he got near the end of the tutorial.
when it say the dust reacted to the black bracelet for a second I thought it would transform to hades weapon
I'm thinking Cronus , titan god of harvest (souls in this case) , uses a scythe or sickle. 'Consumes' his children (zeus) , locked away in Tartarus (underworld).
Chronos pointing to his pocket watch?
Now the cliffs are making us confused...
I thought it will bind the whole room and will count as one item lol
So... Is black king the voldermort? Master of a magic snake? Lol
Such a boring cliche when authors give MC a hard choice, but then just give both options anyway.
And of course Aegis cost all his karma and achievements, even though he'd probably make better use of 12 other items and 1.4 million karma than of Aegis.
But obviously if MC didn't get Aegis that means the author would have to come up with 12 items and MC wouldn't be poor...
Too much items and it will become Deus ex machina, one item per crisis
...so the black bracelet got an upgrade and it is spirit familiar... so Solo Leveling with the dagger wielding MC (?) and his spear wielding (perhaps?) shadow?
I would really like to see if MC can get an evil eye and sort of use the effect of said eye with all the armor's eyes opening, instant AOE tf out of everyone surrounding him.
Also, little sad that people wants to get rid of MC bro's name.
It will be hilarious later when/if the MC's actual name is revealed (which was pretty much identical to his brothers iirc) and that they're twins gets out.
No, by the description, it was....
Chronos, father of Zeus.
The God Eater.
yeah Black Kings backstory sounds a lot like the whole Titans v Gods story
I know, right?
Speculation: if the gods are in charge of the tower, only a person who’s patron is the God Eater could overthrow the managers...
Well, this chapters made this obvious. I mean, Hermes asking the MC to become his Apostle means they are apostles in the Tower, easily being the clan masters the MC plans to fight with. So there goes the phrase that is the path he decided. Someone with the power of Chronos fighting with Olympus Apostles
It was a joke, you know? Since he is the lord of dark art -> Dark Energy and there is also a large snake so my first thought was him XD
I know. And it was good and appropriate. I got the snake ref immediately.
But as soon as I finished the chapter, due to my obsession with Greek mythology in high school, I knew it was Kronos.
...yup, the usual mentality of big ass guilds/ nobles/ corporations, if we cannot have the genius, we will destroy him. Paradise of Demonic Gods also have such examples flesh out, a prodigy who refused invitations of various nobles, all see it as an insult, had his spine and four limbs broken by a high level master they sent and sentenced to a life of begging on the street.
Then there are all those high level bastards who enjoy killing geniuses. Good lord.
So not only must MC kill all of Arthia's traitors, but also all the major and minor guilds in the tower? Cool af.
Well... It's logical at least. If that person doesn't join you, s/he may then join or become your enemy. To prevent that, its better to cut them off at roots.
thats par for the course, IRL governments do that all the time and especially during war with scientists/spies and assets.
Separate names with a comma.
