Why is this thread being made? because we got a troll here. A troll who has gone through multiple banned accounts.
Both of these series are CN, so following the definition of the R-18 tag, they shouldn't get this tag. Thus, you MUST not add this tag to them.
If you are unhappy and wish to talk about the definition of the tag, then you are welcome. Randomly messing around with powerful peoplemods is not a good idea.
Please understand that you are always welcome for a discussion. Even I liKe the ero stuff in the series, but NU follows certain guidelines which can be questioned and changed, but not violated.

I get that you're annoyed by this, but do you mind me asking why the R-18 tag is defined as JP only?

Edit: Is it because most Xianxia stories would get it because of the gore or sth?

 

We already have genres like adult smut mature and various specific tags for "sexy stuff". R-18 and R-15 are used for Japanese novels since thats part of the syosetsu classification system. Or something like that. Ask a mod for specifics @runsing

We have the Adult genre for this kind of stuff actually, so R-18 can actually be done away with. However, JP raws have this tag unlike CN raws so many TL use this tag on NU. For their JP TL. You are free to further question this on the above mentioned thread.

 

I said yes to changing it. It makes sense to change the tag to be gender neutral. Why call it a brotherhood when it's only girls? Camaraderie makes sense.

 

the thing is, brotherhood is kinda like a synonym for both friendship and camaraderie, and because there already is a friendship tag, we wanna change the brotherhood tag to make it more battle oriented.
