IS ANYONE ELSE HYPED FOR SHADOW OF WAR COMING OUT! I KNOW I AM. Is anyone else going to play shadow of war?
Notice the absence of "You've Played" and "Last Played." It's on my backlog... somewhere... The sequel? Hyped?....... ....
I'll only be hyped if they come out with the Super Duper Deluxe Omega Legendary Crystal Edition for $999.99. And of course, the Ultra Supersonic Season Pass for $499.99. And the DLCs for $99.99 each. And the microtransactions. And the loot crates/gambling.
At this stage in my life, I usually don't get a game when it first comes out. I wait until they hit $5-10 in GOTY Edition. That having been said, yes I'm looking forward to it. Shadow of Mordor was good and I'm interested in what they change for this one.
Okay I looked up a few things about the microtransactions. Some micro transactions can be bought with no real money, just need to use the in-game currency, which can be acquired by killing specific minions, killing captains, doing missions, finding treasure chests, destroying loot, etc. It is possible to finish the entire game without touching the micro transactions. The only thing the micro transactions do is let rich bastards be lazy and not put any effort in to get good captains. But that takes away the fun so why buy the game anyways. In one of the chests, but that doesn't really matter because you can acquire the gear anyways by killing captains, war chiefs and overlords - the bosses.
Loved the first game, anticipating the sequal, waiting for Steam Winter Sale & stuff like that. Gonna buy Total War Warhammer 2 first, as soon as I fixed my processor speeds...
true ending locked behind a randomized grind. or better yet, a paywall. ggwp also, true ending is shit
