    So, I occasionally see Twitter people who advocate for live-action Alita film sequels. Occasionally, I have told them that that live-action version was the final film for the Fox movie empire as we knew them before Disney killed the Fox.

    Eng. dub voice actor Mark Allen, Jr. (DOB: 6/8/1988) is Black, White, and Cherokee. He is also a weather otaku. His first lead anime role was Yota in "Kami-sama ni Natta Hi", which also starred Dani Chamber as the leading lady. Let this sink in: A very emotional anime whose Eng. dub has 2 Black VA as the leads. Both had very powerful performances. Also, while I don't think Mark emphasizes it a lot on Twitter, but he is bisexual. Here is an early-Oct. 2018 tweet where he even confirms this: twitter.com/MarkAllenJr/status/1050473387930185729.

    Mark was also Taiki in "Horimiya", of which the Eng. dub used a mostly non-White cast for the major characters. However, the main dub director, Caitlin "Winry Rockbell" Glass, emphasized the skills of her cast and not their race. The opposite is something often done in Hollywood. "Horimiya" is an example of diverse racial casting done correctly. Caitlin's co-director and buddy, Shawn Gann, is a Pinoy.

    Seriously, if we had the Big 8 of the Golden Age of Hollywood as we knew them still around plus Disney and Lionsgate making up most of the domestic box office shares, cool. Plus, each could have had a streaming service with most of their libraries.
