A few days ago I saw a request for the novel (divorced evil lady bakes cake) and thought of picking it up. Then I saw that the previous translator of said in their wattpad about posting almost 50 chapters at once and since then didn’t post anything else. I don’t want to pick it up if they return with so many chapters as my efforts will go to waste. So, I want the public opinion on this.
why don't you drop a message to them and ask them if they are going to continue? if not, just get their consent once. also, info. how long has it been till they have not updated?
Yeah I asked them, they didn’t reply yet lol. And they didn’t post since December 20. It’s not very long, but since there was a request I thought of making the poll.
Why don’t you look for other ways to contact them as they might not be too active on that account? I would wait for their reply as translating it might be a waste of efforts especially since it’s been such a long time and they might’ve completed the translation by now. There are also some people who complete translating and wait for the editor to go through the translations which also would take a long time (as there are many chapters). So, I suggest that you find another way to get to them.
At first, seeing the title I thought it's a Chinese novel. Then I checked the page and found out it's Korean. Scrolled down and saw the original publishers and went " so that's what happened"....
