I'm 6 seasons deep in X-files and there are 3 seasons left which I'll probably finish in a few weeks and I'm looking for a new series to watch through my X-files withdrawal phase. Lost had a GoT-ish hype when it was still on-going and it also looks very interesting with its mysteries and stuff. And I also know about the ending not fully answering everything and I'm okay with that (for now, I guess) Also, recommend me some other Tv-series to watch, please. Thanks!
I started watching lost but gave up midway. I'm glad cos people complained that the ending was so bad. I say don't watch it. You should watch prison break though. That was good~
The scenarists may had an idea for their serie at first but they lost it trying to add seasons after seasons of jumbled mess... If you can watch the first few seasons while knowing that it will just become more and more confuse as it go on as they add stuff that will be never be adressed again, adding characters that will never amount to much in the final big picture but have a lot of screentime and that the ending is completely lackluster, underwhelming, as cliche as it could get and doesn't answer much, then have a kick from it you masochist
Watch Sherlock Holmes. That's really good. And you can also watch the American version called Elementary~ Grimm wasn't too bad either~
Sherlock? With Benedict Cumberbatch? I've finished it. It was REALLY good. Thanks for Elementary and Grimm, both look like a pretty good watch!
You can watch and enjoy the first season or 2 of lost but that is it. After that it becomes.... total crap that steadily gets worse and worse. Enjoy the beginning but ignore everything after. You should watch Scrubs. For some comedy. Prison Break is good, later seasons will drag on but they are still enjoyable. House, I enjoyed the bad but good doctor in action. Westworld should be a good one to get into. Timeless is on Netflix and I found it to be a fun time. Little over the top but really captured my attention.
Yeah that's the one. It's amazing right. I started off watching elementary first which is good but the Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role better I think~
I literally just started watching both those series. Does Grim really polish itself as it goes on, cause I'm on episode 4 and while it is enjoyable they still seem to be trying to figure out what they want to be.
My brother is the one that watches them and I'm usually there in the room. So I first saw elementary. I knew about Sherlock Holmes but thought it might be boring. But when I saw the first episode I realised I was really wrong. Hmm Grimm doesn't turn out to be great but to pass time it's fine to watch~
I guess it'll be the new Background Show I use and I'll focus more on Elementary. Thanks for the fair warning.
You're welcome~ @Ninth Mountain I haven't watched it but Breaking Bad was supposed to be really good. Dunno if they've been mentioned or not but also The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.
Yeah breaking bad is definitely a show that grows well season after season, the characters are getting better and better, Bryan Cranston acting is impressive and spot on all the way and the ending is really good. If you got the final dvd or BR you can even see a fun bonus ending that does a great wink to Malcolm in the middle
I never really got around to watch those myself because of the amount of spoilers I've seen. I'll probably watch them sometime later on since they are really recommended.
I liked Grimm, at least what i saw. I grew up on Buffy, everyone can quess why There was a good vampire series, Moonlight. And i liked Firefly too. They were scrapped sadly.
