As an open translator, you’ll be free to work on your own project and post whenever you want. If you need help with a line, you can ask (assuming it’s within our abilities to answer) and if you want, I can edit you translation for you.

 

Solo Translator here. There are pros and cons to all choices when it comes to joining a group or being a one-man army.

If you plan on joining a Translation group, look for one that meets your needs/expectations. I haven't joined anyone so I can't speak from experience, but we have quite a galore of people from the community that do have helpful advice.

As an individual, I use Wordpress (Business)
- The luxury of making your own website or blog comes with its own price-tag.
- I have full control over my hobby, basically I am my own project manager.
--> But realize the roles you'll be handling (Website designer & maintenance, Translator, Proofreader, Editor, and possibly more)

If all you want to do is translate and have someone else do the editing, proofreading, and hosting that's cool too.

Would be more popular if I translated more frequently.

but it's hard to competed with jnc, is the wn story different with the LN ? , but now, i didn't hear any news about it anymore, is the LN gone hiatus, or something

 

JNC has people very familiar with the language translating. In that case, they are better. I don’t know how well they edit stories, but if I’m to compare myself against the translator of the story, I can confidently say I’m a better editor than him. Again, I don’t know what kind of editor they’ve provided him, so I can comment about how his work is posted now.
As for the hiatus, there is trouble with the publisher on getting the latest novel out. The story has been ready for over year, but it hasn’t ben published. That story has trouble in translating and publishing~

 

Wordpress is free. Pretty nice to use. Otherwise, Webnovel also has a great interface to use and has a dedicated viewerbase.
